Its a fun question right? I am betting most people, especially the vitriolic anons and the like that exist on this site will scream that violence is never acceptable and 100% of people agree When the reality 24% of leftists support political violence, and only 3% of conservatives support political violence.

Here is the worst part. These same people to the tune of 60+% say violence in self defense is never acceptable but political violence is.

Florida's has Castle Doctrine so I don't worry about it much. If they come for me, they die. I drove my elderly mother to the store the other day because she's having knee problems and needs to be dropped off close to the entrance because she can't do a lot of walking until she recovers. When she was coming out of the grocery store, four black people came out of the the store behind her. 2 got in the SUV, and two stopped and started staring at my mom as she put her groceries in the back of the car. I was watching them through the mirror as they were watching my mom. If they attacked us in my car, I had every right to shoot them dead. I hope these fools think twice before doing dumb shit because a lot of people have guns in Florida and we have a right to use deadly force. Leave people alone...

I think it’s higher than that as far as general approval. I would suggest that the numbers you found are more reflective of the number of people who are okay with perpetrating political violence. Bill Maher once commented on a poll that he found suggesting that just under 50% of conservatives and just over 50% of liberals think the world would be better off if people who voted differently from them would just “disappear”. That’s obviously a politically correct way to ask people if they are okay with their political opponents dying so that they can rule unencumbered. I had a link to the poll he quoted and saved a youtube clip in which he talks about it. I can’t find either now. I think Charlie Kirk’s assassination has people and organizations wiping content out to cover their butts.
