Well if we are willing to give it to people who are willing to run across our borders illegally why don’t we give it to everyone in the world? Why not? Have the rich Americans give healthcare to all the world’s population.
You see where does it end? Where do we say enough is enough? People say America can afford it… if that’s true why are their 40 million people in the U. S. getting SNAP benefits? Maybe if we lessened the tax burden on America we wouldn’t have 40 million getting food stamps. Maybe we need to be a little less generous with money we don’t have. We are near 40 trillion in debt as a country.
So no, illegals should not be receiving benefits that we as a country cannot afford.
No, I do not support giving them anything but a plane ticket back to where they came from.

I don’t support taxpayer funded entitlements for anyone who hasn’t paid in. There are millions of women who have never meaningfully contributed to the economy who collected their husbands’ social security benefits for long after they brow beat the poor chaps to death. Is that right? I sure don’t think so. A system like that is fundamentally flawed to intrinsically have more recipients than contributors. It’s not mathematically sustainable. They’ve only made it worse because at some point most women could be expected to work and therefore contribute. So the democrats devised a plan to guarantee that particular failure couldn’t possibly be averted.
It only happens in the ER. you can't screen people ability to pay in an emergency situation.
If we had a universal health care system including illegal immigrants so the ER isn't the only medical care they can get would save the tax payer 400 billion dollars.
We pay more in taxes going to middle men insurance companies. Majority of doctor work time goes into paperwork for said insurance a dozen different companies at a time.
2/3 of all medical spending is already Government paid for. Larger part is excessive ER being the sole provider for uninsured people. We are doing things the most expensive ass backwards way possible for worst results.
The profits that insurance companies and healthcare providers earn in the US subsidize the discounts that other countries receive. You can’t give everyone on the planet healthcare at “no cost”. SOMEONE always pays. It’s never the super wealthy because they’re the ones rigging the system. It’s not the super poor because they have nothing to lose. Working class people have to support the entire world’s two greediest classes of people and you’re mad when we resist the concept? Ell oh ell!
If you want to support criminals and deadbeats, give them YOUR money. Let them live in YOUR house. Give them YOUR car and credit cards. Stop trying to steal MY money to support people who aren’t contributing in the first place.
Funny thing is get a toe in the door people forget how things used to be. Like social security.
The only problem is people are fucking stupid. Ask people are you for the affordable cares act or obama care and majority of people on it don't even know its the same thing.
Seeing how the Republicans having control of all branches of government can't do jack shit for nothing and new york mayor is tuning into a true leftist.
It's looking good on democratic party growing a spine and being a hard leftist. So a good push on a universal health care in the next few years.
Support depends on perspective, but at its core, healthcare is about human dignity and public health.
Providing access reduces systemic risk and suffering, regardless of legal status, while still allowing for policy discussions around funding, accountability, and sustainability.
Compassion and pragmatism can coexist, ensuring safety and well being doesn’t have to conflict with sensible governance.
I don't support extortion funded anything for anyone
Hell nah! Anybody saying they do is virtue signaling! Why want it for a huge expensive group who's never paid into our system when you, we ourselves don't get it?
No*
*Except as SCOTUS wisely decided when treated in ER on emergency basis.
No, and I never will. Hell I don't support tax payer funded Healthcare for citizens why would I support it for illegals?
If they are paying taxes... sure.
It can happen. An illegal can get work and pay taxes while working through the system... at least in Canada. They enter illegally... claim refugee status and begin the process which can be time consuming. So during this time they work. I am not saying this is right or wrong but if they are paying taxes I guess they should get healthcare.
STFU already …. don't be a fool.
this is not what I pay my taxes for
