He has not delivered on promises and actually done things he said he wouldn't.

Less than a year into arguably the most productive and effective presidency since Clinton, and you are already bailing?
How very American instant-gratification of you. Ell oh ell!
Every candidate lies and every president fails. You can’t name a single president with a perfect record.
Contrary to the rhetoric from the right, the country did not go to sh*t over the course of a single presidency, or even over the course of two. It’s going to take years to course correct. It has been astonishing what Drumpf has accomplished with democrats fighting him tooth and nail the whole way and less than unanimous support from the republicans. I don’t approve of everything he does, and i’m not ignoring everything he has clearly failed to do. However, he’s got us moving in the right direction economically, in my opinion. I wish he’d put some more effort into improving the public education system, and not just wiping out partisan ideologies. I mean make US public education students and graduates globally competitive again. I’d also like to see him push to support the labor unions. If he proves himself a real ally to the working class, he and his colleagues will have carte blanche to tune up the government and economy however they see fit.
Alas, he isn’t doing that, but nobody is. The broken promises from democrats go way back before Drumpf even talked about running. I’ve been a proud, loyal, hardworking and dues paying union member for over two decades now and i’ve heard every promise the democrats have regurgitated to garner financial support and votes. Only to “fail” to make good on any of them once they took office. The working class people need good jobs if we’re meant to support the deadbeats and the uber rich, but they refuse to back us meaningfully. This is the perfect opportunity for the republicans to completely flip the script and make the democrats pull back and reexamine their choices thus far.00 Reply

The truth is that many prices will never go back down to pre Biden levels. However the budget busting price increases that we experienced when Biden was president have subsided. The cost of gas and home heating oil is almost half of what it was when Biden was president. The price of eggs and other products have also gone down.
Thr mass deportations have been proceeding in spite of democrats trying to hold onto them, Millions of illegal aliens have been deported and thousands of new ICE and Border Patrol agents are being hired and new processing facilities are being built.
President Trump has issued many Executive Orders covering many different things to help Americans,. These include anything from men competing in women's sports to opening up federal land for oil drilling.
It took Joe Biden 4 years to screw up the country. President Trump has been working hard to fix it but it cannot be done overnight.

List of things he has done ?

Got a tax cut bill passed, reduced energy prices, deported millions of illegal aliens,, America is no longer funding the war in Ukraine, destroyed Iran's nuclear bomb facility, got men out of womens sports, negotiated new trade deals , ended the war in Palestine, stopped a nuclar war between Pakistan and India. is building a new ballroom onto the White House, Identified billions of dollars in waste and corruption in the government and shut down several anti American organizations the were funded by the government. . I could go on but you get the idea.

Tax cuts for rich, not me. Wrong about energy , Gas a little down but electricity record highs, We don't know real number of deports , just Trump's numbers he pulled out of his butt. We are still sending weapons to Ukraine. Yes started War with Iran and Iran will strike back. Negotiated like 8 Trade deals that sucked when we were promised 90 . Israel is still bombing Palestians , so no wrong again. There was no Nuclear war with pakistan and India. India won the war and Trump had nothing to do with it. We need Ball Room like another hole in the head. That was money wasted. Money saved by Musk has already been spent and they hiring back people they fired and renting buildings they got rid of. Most of your list never happened and some Trump just stole credit for. Your problem is that you believe whatever Trump says Is fact. If he told you he was GOD , you would believe it.

@888thegreat Americans have watched all the jobs get shipped overseas for the last 40 years. There is a barge as big as 2 football fields that goes between the port of LA and China. It comes to America filled to the brim with cheap Chinese goods and goes back to China practically empty. I was glad when we elected a President that found something wrong with this arrangement.

And they continue to leave US. Trump has lost more than gained. Americans won't pay prices for American made products and that is why they left in the first place and why GE stop making Appliances. This is why Americans buy KIA's over FORD Now. Workers in US get paid more , so Products they make are priced higher. You need to use your eyes to see the truth and not believe the lies of Trump with your ears.

@888thegreat. Tariffs level the playing field. When foreign made goods become expensive people will but the better quality American product. People get better jobs , make more money, get people off welfare, and our trade deficit decline and the money circulates through our economy instead of just getting sent to China

Tariffs always lead to higher prices on Americans and Inflation and many times wars. You can Google it and see I am correct. Very Few get new jobs. Prices rise and outpace incomes. The few new jobs created need highly educated people not people on welfare. People on welfare just end up living under a bridge. Again , Trump tells you these lies and you believe it. If Trump told you to jump off a cliff it will make America better , you would jump. I use common sense and look at the issues and know Trump is lying. We don;t even have a Trillion of new investment , His Tariffs have brought in maybe $750 Billon. Trump said he would replace IRS with Tariffs. Well you need $5 Trillion a year to replace IRS , so he is $4 Trillion short. The Tariffs other countries put on US is 4% with India the highest at 15% . Trump just pulled his fake numbers out of his ass. Don't be so gullible.

6 moI think he's got his attention being pulled in so many different directions it makes for a challenge most people can't easily envision.
On one hand, he's doing what he was elected to do. On the other hand, the way it's being done is too haphazard and really it's because of how shit our law enforcement has become. There's simply no sense of honor in any of these decision makers.
I think trump sees a video of someone getting pulled out of a car and someone kind of brushes it off and then he has to go back to playing the tarrif game, negotiating with these people sending hundreds of billions of dollars in investments here, figuring out how to safely remove bottlenecks in getting nuclear power where it needs to be, fighting dozens of court cases.
I could go on but I'm just saying he's a busy guy and he's old.
My support for him hasn't really changed. I wish he did some things differently, I can't think of anyone more qualified for the job.

7 moi do not support him anymore but i never really did. i supported what he could do and he did it and he can stop now. but we're left with a guy that won't deport his wife and son, or one that will, so there's really no reason to move from bad to bad.
10 Reply 1.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Big surprise that the man who is known for lying for financial support and never delivering on his promises, such as paying his employees or for the goods and services he employs, would use the same strategies in politics.
I am shocked! Shocked I tell you!
