How do you deal with being less rich than your girl’s ex?

Obviously if she chose to be with me that means I have something money couldn’t buy

But realistically her ex took take her on trips abroad.
Fancy dinners in skyscrapers
Galas, red carpets, expose premiers

I worry that even if she thinks I’m enough for her
After a certain amount of street food she will miss the high society

And I make decent money and keep increasing my means over time but I won’t be rich enough to become a standing member of that society before many years at this point

Any tips on how to manage that?

Work on your confidence. Stop worrying about her ex. How much money you make is never a good indicator for what a person really is like... remember this guy is an ex right?

Ask yourself it you would be happy dating somebody who is only in it for the money. Maybe the girl you are dating is not?

Yeah I know she’s not a gold digger
She’s actually fairly rich herself so she’s not looking for my wallet

And I of course wouldn’t care about the means of my partner no matter what

But I do worry that if I can’t afford some of these activities and she can there’s a chance I “hold her back” in a way her ex didn’t
