Ever since this viral sketch of Batman choking out an ICE agent has been circling around, leftists online who don't even read comics have been trying to claim Batman has one of their own

Of course this is just a reimagined sketch but leftists will conveniently ignore this other sketch of Batman manhandling some ANTIFA soyboys

Ironically both sketches were posted by the same writer Chuck Dixon yet leftists wanna lecture an actual comic book writer that Batman is also a leftist

The thing is Batman isn't a leftist and was never a leftist to begin with despite what leftists love to claim just to make themselves feel more powerful and morally superior

For starters Batman is a straight white male born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he becomes a tall handsome ladies man Chad full of testosterone and his toxic masculinity is only eclipsed by Wolverine, Punisher and the Hulk

he's also a pro-capitalist billionaire who strongly supports police and law enforcement, he drives fast cars, flies in private jets, enjoys physical training and combat, dates and sleeps around with lots of women etc. something that leftists can't even do

if Batman were real he'd just be a beefed up version of Andrew Tate without the online trolling and constant need for attention and showing off

Yes Batman is a vigilante much like ANTIFA soyboys except Batman didn't become a vigilante to fight against law enforcement. He became a vigilante because law enforcement wasn't doing a good enough job at reducing crime in Gotham City

In fact Batman has been accused of being a fascist who goes around picking on the poor, the marginalized and the mentally ill e. g. the Joker

however the moment the Joker was labeled an incel, leftists suddenly had no problem with Batman picking on the Joker which kinda shows where their priorities truly lie

So, Batman and Bruce Wayne are meant to be two separate people. The few iterations where they’re the same would be The Batman (2004) and Batman (1966). In many iterations, Batman purposely separates his personalities for both personas, often considering Batman to be his true self rather than Bruce Wayne so I wouldn’t go about saying the actions of billionaire playboy philanthropist Bruce Wayne reflect on the persona of Batman, anyone who knows Batman comics would also know that. Speaking in terms of motivations, Batman specifically endorses the actions of justice, and this usually comes from good members of the police such as Police Commissioner Gordon. However, there are plenty of corrupt police he’s taken on such as Arnold Flass, and Commissioner Loeb, and Lock-Up if you want to include corrections officers. He’s also stopped cop-killers like The Wrath and Savage Skull. Batman doesn’t care about titles as much as actions, which is why the Batman exists. Assigning political leanings to him is kind of futile because while, yes, Batman is very much a capitalist, capitalism exists on both the right and left sides of the aisle. Bruce Wayne is a carefully curated public image meant to completely sway people against the idea that he’s Batman but at the same time he takes very few strong political stances publicly in canon because doing so can be a disaster to any celebrity’s public image. I would say that Batman is not right-wing, nor is he left-wing, he’s batwings (lol get it?). He focuses on enacting justice when systems of bureaucracy fail, such as when his parents were murdered and the killer was never found by the police. This isn’t because of a lack of trying on the part of the police, they looked like crazy to find him, but he was smart enough to know how they operated and escaped being found for decades. That’s why Batman exists, he exists to find criminals like that who slip past police, who are able to afford a bribe or a good lawyer to grant them leniency, which goes directly against the idea that only our justice system can bring people to justice. He’s a critique of that system, which right-wing and left-wing audiences seem to love irl, and becomes a vigilante for the sake of what HE believes is true justice.

Fanart aside, people will take this fictional character and assign whatever they please to him. You and I are no exceptions to this, and I imagine you’ll disagree with the idea that Batman is politically neutral, but I’m also saying you’re talking out of your ass a little bit with this just because you’re mad that people like the image of Batman choking out an ICE officer, an institution under heavy and deserved criticism right now as they’re constantly (and rightly so in my opinion) being compared to Hitler’s Gestapo for the regular kidnapping of American citizens and green-card holders for seemingly no other reason than the fact that they are visibly hispanic, and doing so without their entitled due process. It’s a drawing, and so is the anti-antifa thing. You’ll get over it.

Batman/Bruce Wayne may be a billionaire, but he's also a philanthropist who has always used is money and power to fight powerful supervillains of the corrupt, authoritarian, world-domineering and war-mongering variety. In other words, he has a conscience. He's politically and socially aligned with forces of good for the benefit of all, no matter their race, social status or wealth.

That's why ladies and people in general like him.
