What if I told you that I knew a way for every human to travel to any place and time with no violation of causality and no risk of paradox at zero cost and little effort?

Let's say you believe me. Think of the implications. Morality, reality, the nature of time, human economics and scarcity. Do you...

• Kill me instantly before I can share that knowledge with anyone, including you?
• Take the knowledge and then kill me so you are now the only one with that knowledge?
• Allow me to release that knowledge to 8.5 billion humans?

Provided that you give me the knowledge first, you are then free to release it to anybody you want. I don't see that it would be problematic for you to do that. At least, not a problem for me - perhaps for others. I already live on this planet with 8.5 billion human beings. So doing that someplace else with what would presumably be a lesser number of people would not be an issue for me. I am probably missing something in all this, and I understand that. But I am too tired at the moment to deal with more of it. However, that being said, if you actually have this knowledge, it will be worth a lot to me if you would give it to me.

I don't want anyone to have such kind of information. That'd be dangerous and create heck lot of problems. Now if we were talking about a terrorist or rapist especially paedophile having that knowledge, I'd have chosen option number 1, because they are good for nothing. But since it's you, I'd go with third option.

I suppose not. Time travel to the past would obviously violate causality, so maybe I'm not up for it. Superluminal travel also breaks causality. We may wish we could travel other places on Earth with ease, but if everyone could do it then the attractive places would be insanely crowded all the time.

You must be an engineer or a programmer. I removed causality and paradox from consideration. It is a philosophical question to generate thinking outside the box not a test of current scientific knowledge. You refused to leave the box and pulled the lid shut. Moreover, I didn't specify Earth as a limitation. I said ANY TIME AND PLACE. You failed the test.

Then you aren't answering the question. You are off on your own answering some other question which wasn't asked. That fits your world. Your mind cannot operate outside the existing rule book. No, I didn't, because it's a bit like asking "what would you do if you were omnipotent". If I knew the closing price of any stock one day in advance, after a week or two I would be unimaginably wealthy.

If I could add a modifier, I would choose B after a long discussion but wouldn't kill you. Time and space travel has always been my favorite superpower but I don't think it should be wielded by anyone
