What will you do in a post-work world due to AI automation?

Lets say governments started giving us Universal Basic Income and every jobs are being processed by the robots and AI.

And you have 40+ free years, a real freedom. What will you do with your life?

UBI has never been utilized in a manner that essentially lets everyone cash checks without having to work in any way. It’s basically a stipend designed to cover the costs of living. If you want more out of life than to merely survive, you will still have to find a way to earn more.
I would homestead, travel and read abundantly with my free time. I was raised in a home where we grew, hunted and fished for the majority of our food. I have all of that knowledge. I just have to dust off my skills. That’s actually my ultimate goal for retirement. The progress of robotics and artificial intelligence isn’t a factor in the slightest. It will be ages before machines can replace me and my ilk.

There will never be a post-work world because we’re too capitalist. Unless we completely forego the concept of currency, humans will keep working for money.
