What is your thoughts on cohabitation?

Cohabitation has become a pretty common topic lately, and people seem divided about it. Some say living together before marriage is a practical step that helps partners understand each other better, while others think it only creates more complications. I’m curious to hear different perspectives: Do you believe cohabitation is a smart and realistic choice, or does it usually lead to more problems than benefits?

I think it's a smart and realistic choice. Living together is different than dating while not living together. There are things related to daily life and maintaining a home where compatibility matter and you might not know some of those incompatibilities until you live together. I think it's the same with sex. You need to find out if you're compatible with that before making a major commitment like marriage.

Living together and having sex before committing to marriage doesn't guarantee that everything will be find in a marriage, but I think in some cases can help you identify issues so that you can make a choice about whether they will be manageable before getting into a marriage which is much more difficult to get out of than a relationship where you're not yet married so I think it's a good step to take.

It is indeed a lot safer than marriage, since when you break up, a woman doesn't necessarily get the right to 50% of your property and your income.
