There's a very vocal minority of the Democratic party (usually the far left wing of the party), that is intolerant and hateful towards anyone who doesn't pass their "purity test", and it's my observation, Dem leaders/politicians failure/refusal to call out/distance them selves from this minority group within the party pushed voters away which contributed to Harris's loss.

Before any comments defending this intolerance and hate with right wing views, It's not just right wing views, it's minor difference within the party this minority group is intolerant against, could be something simple as agreeing on the same outcome but a different view on how to reach said outcome.

Hateful extreme doesn't benefit their party, it does the exact opposite. Since the minority on the right is much smaller, it only hurts their party, and since the minority on the left is much bigger, it both hurts their party and benefits their party as someone in the middle/independent is more likely to encounter the vocal minority on the left then they are on the right.

It didn't help. I think Harris lost because she was a terrible candidate. Also, the democrats refusing to hear voter concerns, opting instead to tell people what should be important.

Yep, and two of the biggest concerns for voters was inflation and illegal immigration , which Democrats doubled down on not being an issue. Harris being a terrible candidate is why Democrats didn't hold a legitimate primary, she was the chosen one, and the only way for her to get the nomination, was to fix the primaries for Biden for him to drop out last minute leaving no other option but to give the nomination to Harris.

No. There also was not the one reason, it was more of a comedy of errors, as Nixon put it. It all began with the failure of the DNC to have a solid and communicated candidate selection process put in place, starting basically the moment the ostensible one-term candidate Joe Biden took office in 2020.

I didn't say the party as a whole has purity test, I said a small minority of the party that's very vocal has purity test, which isn't right wing talking point, it's just facts. All's you need to do is look at the pro-Palestinian members of the Democratic party who stayed home or voted 3rd party to see purity test exist within minority groups of the party. FYI, I'm a center left Democrat, so your either lying when say purity test doesn't exist within the party or your lying that I'm the one with purity testing.
