Of course, but i perceive the majority of rights through the Constitutional filter. If it’s not explicitly stated in the Constitution and the prevailing interpretations don’t support it, then we’re not discussing “rights” anymore.
Some argue “natural” rights and “God given” rights, but i think that is a slippery slope. Especially since “God” isn’t mentioned even once in the US Constitution.

That is not wrong, and I never said it was wrong. Ultimately, at least in the United States, it depends on what judges, not just a single judge, interpret it, and those judges are on our Supreme Court. The Supreme Court is the final arbiter of the Bill of Rights and other parts of the Constitution. For right now, at least, our Supreme Court seems to be extremely corrupt. So if you're depending on their decisions to teach you something, I think you'd better make sure you understand all sides of the argument very clearly before drawing any conclusions.

This is actually not an issue of fairness. Instead, it's an issue of following the law since at least in the US civil rights were enshrined in the law and the law is something that we are all supposed to follow. I realized many of us do not follow that law because instead we follow a cult leader who's a horrible criminal and who gets away with it.

Should Trump be permitted to deport people without due process? Due process is a civil right that applies to all people in the United States. Yet somehow Trump has decided to forget about it. Each time that he does this he breaks the law and each time he does this he violates civil rights.
