The draw for the 2026 FIFA World Cup resulted in Iran and Egypt playing in a match in Seattle Washington during Seattle's Gay Pride Celebration. Seattle wants to turn the match into a Pride Match.

Being gay in Iran is illegal and frowned upon in Egypt, and both country's football (soccer) associations have voiced their disapproval of this planned match.
