Trump wrote on Truth Social on Monday that Mr. Reiner’s death was “reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME"

I mean... can we all just be honest for a second? Trump is not wrong about that. What happened to Reiner is classic "leopards ate my face."
Anti Trump people spent a decade spewing alarmist rhetoric and venom out into the world. Even if that rhetoric had a basis in reality, it was designed to incite anger an unrest.
People get hurt during moments of unrest.
How could anyone be surprised that someone who spent a decade fomenting violence and unrest ended up being a victim of violence and unrest?
Assuming it was his son who killed him, in what way do you think it had anything to do with Trump?
That's just bullshit.
I’m not sure… People who hold onto a spirit of anger about one thing tend to bring that anger to a lot of areas of their life.
We’re talking about an extremely, aggressively mentally ill person, man… it doesn’t have to make sense.
Are you suggesting the son is a Trump supporter? He couldn't take his father saying true things about his idol? Otherwise, it has nothing to do with Trump.
I don’t have any reason to think that, no. We will have to wait to see what the investigation uncovers.
So Trump is wrong about all that.
Trump is wrong about just about everything that he says. He has his own sort of take on the world that unfortunately is not consistent with reality much of the time.
And @ProbablyClueless is living up to his name.
@goaded Well... unfortunately for you two, Trump has turned out to be right on a lot of things.
Not this. (And not really anything of importance.)
@goaded That investigation is on going; we don't know whether he was wrong or right yet. But we've seen him be right about the economy, Middle East foreign policy, African foreign policy, China trade, Tariffs, NATO spending, whether the Obama admin was spying on his campaign, Russiagate, whether the election was tampered with by the CIA and FBI. He was also right about illegal immigration, the severity of COVID, the implication of a COVID lockdown, the impact of fuel prices on groceries.
Trump's been right about all kinds of things.
No. No. No. No. No. Only with judicial warrants and probable cause (read the Mueller report). No. No. No. Definitely not, he got a few hundred thousand extra Americans killed. No. Huh?
@goaded LMFAO You are always a fun one to chat with. Reality must be a struggle for you.
Not really, I just have to report the facts. Care to defend any of your claims?
@goaded The factual historical record provides all the proof you need. And, considering that your default response to facts is to put your hands on your hips and say "nahuh," there's really not much more to say.
If you aren't satisfied by the reporting of organizations like CNN, AP Wire, NYT, Wall Street Journal, AP Wire, etc; I don't know what I could possibly tell you that could change your mind.
I didn't think so. One specific article to back up one specific claim from your dozen, that's all I'm asking for.
If any of our conversations had ever once gone, that way, you know that I would be happy to engage with you. That’s not your style though.
They haven't "ever once gone, that way" because you haven't ever responded to a simple request like "One specific article to back up one specific claim from your dozen".
Your best bet is probably NATO spending, but the reason that's increased significantly has more to do with a renewed concrete thread from Russia than Trump's bullying.

Trump is a piece of shit that is obsessed with himself. No, I do not remotely agree with him making someone else's death about himself. However, I know nothing about this Rob Reiner or how he died, so I don't have an opinion on the accuracy of Trump's statement. I do wish the ways BOTH sides THINK they are better... that both sides could actually stick to though.
One side bothers to wait for facts. His son has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Wait for facts? what? Who does that? Definitely not the news, politicians, nor most people that commit to one of the two sides
Facts like the murderer appears to have been their son. Now we wait to find out what his motive probably was. It's unlikely to be that his Dad told the truth about Trump, despite what Trump would have you believe.
Oh, you meant in this one instance, one side is waiting for facts. I misunderstood. I thought you meant one of the sides commonly does. My bad
We're talking about a particular murder, but feel free to provide counter-examples.
Cankles McTacotits is seriously mentally ill. It's always about him. It always will be about him. Mental illness is 24X7, all day every day. No one can ever give him enough praise to satisfy in his insecurities and neediness. History will not be kind to Cheeto Jesus.
Trump should have just said nothing about it. I get that Reiner was a big anti Trump guy but I do not think President Trump knew who killed him when he commented on it. I think he assumed that a fed up conservative killed Reiner and his wife.
Then he thought it was a supporter of his that did the killing, and said it was the victims' fault.
Do you not see a problem with that?
@goaded Yes, he is taking a page out of the democrat playbook. It a slippery slope.
I think you were right that Trump did not know who had killed him, nor did anybody else at that point. It doesn't really matter. Trump is still an asshole.
Ya know, he can be an asshole. Most leaders have to be assholes sometimes. He is still a great president.
No, he cannot be an asshole. Not to the degree he has been. He is making his own followers enraged at him. It's a good thing he's not running for re-election, because if he were, he'd get wiped out. As it is, he's managed to wipe out the entire Republican Party in the midterm elections, if he can't find a way to get rid of those elections fairly quickly.

Typical Trump to make everything about himself. What a "leader" huh?
Typical Trump. What an insensitive embarrassment for our country and the whole world.
You obviously don't know the whole story behind this. I suppose you think Rosie O'Donnell is innocent also.
I expect "the whole story" will have been made up of whole cloth to defend Trump.
If you're a fucking prick your entire life, that doesn't change when you die. Sorry to break the news to you. Trump is a counter-puncher. If you think Rosie O'Donnell and Rob Reiner are victims, you're dumber than I already thought. Rob's own kid killed him. Trump didn't kill him, his own kid did. Now go grab your whole cloth and defend poor Robby.
Big brave "counter-puncher", when the man and his wife are dead!
So what has Trump got to do with their death? Nothing. What kind of monster claims that sort of thing?
That would be what you're doing. So, tell me, what is the "whole story" you claim to "know"?
No. Provide a link proving that. But he did indicate that Reiner may have brought this on himself. And much as I am a MAGA guy, I don't agree with that. The young man was fucking nuts.
Considering the source of the statement is an absolute moron, approval of anything it says is never a consideration.
I saw that. It's in poor taste, but at the same, Leftists were saying the same thing about Charlie Kirk, so I'm not gonna condem him for it.
Charlie Kirk actually said some fairly vile shit. Rob Reiner didn't.
That's not the point
Ah Queen Elizabeth?
Very tastefully done.
Trump is scum for saying that. Poor taste.
The only person to blame is the murderer
TUCK FRUMP !!!
