Don't see why. You say Europe as though it is a homogeneous population but it isn't. About half the population is from very small countries with different cultures and origins. The UK exited from Europe so don't include them in Europe. UK origins is 30-40% of American population.

Even then the UK is a bitzer population with many origins itself forming the whole. Lots of non homogeneous countries exist so your postulate is just badly wrong.

It is more than the US. At least Australia, Canada, New Zealand can be described as Pioneering countries. I am quite proud of what my forebears achieved in a short space of time.

As well as being Pioneering countries we are also all Immigrant nations where the basic requirement to join is to consider yourself as part of the nation and your first loyalty.

I don't see why any of us should not feel nationalism. The US included.

The "Nationalism" in the USA is not really nationalism. It's roots are in White Supremacy (racism) and extremist Protestant Christianity (religious cult fanaticism). They latched onto Nazi propaganda and folklore (racism and religious hate).

Now we have this weird kettle of mixed hate ideologies. But it really all boils down to the losers in our society being desperate to feel better than someone, anyone, for the first time in their worthless miserable lives. 25% of the population wants a White Christian Homeland. The rest of us want these filth exterminated.

There is nothing wrong with it. Winning teams have it, so do winning countries and so do their people who are winners. The problem is that we absorb too many that have a selfish mentality and won’t lift a finger that helps anyone or anything other than themselves. I see several of those type on here.

One has even been given a lot and still spits on what gave him the opportunity to be successful. He believes in nothing, offers nothing but spite and tales everything he can. As some point out, many nationalists are white Christians but not all of course. The problem today is that the country is so successful even losers are gaining money and power but then weaken the country like rust. You can either fix the rusted parts or let the whole fail. Its fine to be proud of your country... but you have to be realistic as well. Many Americans seem to lose their impartiality when viewing the USA. By almost every measure (poverty, crime, healthcare. education and so on ) the USA hardly breaks into the top 10 compared to other nations. This "nationalistic delusion" maybe plays a role in preventing America from fixing chronic issues.
