Think of it this way. Caucasian people get whiter the further north you go and are actually black coloured in india. You ever notice how black Americans get lighter and lighter the further north you go after centuries of living in the us?
If Caucasians were in africa for 10,000 years they would maybe evolve darker skin but they maybe wouldn't have necessarily the same facial features. Africans themselves probably don't look exactly the way Africans did 10 or 20,000 years ago and would have continued to evolve and adapt to their climate. Climate change may be the same or similar but the humans who live in it may evolve and adapt to the same climate situation on uniquely different ways. A good example is the peoples living in the andes vs the himalayas. Both had to adapt to living at high altitudes.

Probably. Whites evolved in central Asian steppes, there is lot of sun in summer and no sun in winter, that's why most whites are tanning. North Africans are genetically close to whites and came back from central Asia to north Africa again. They are brown compared to Swedes while genetic distance between Egyptian and Swedes is much smaller than between Bantu and Zulu which both are black.
you don't sound sure? if you don't think about the genes and timelines and try not to complicate it and keep it simple it might help? just base it on the human in that habitat evolving/devolving/living for 10k years.
The knowledge wouldn't suddenly disappear and people would start rebuilding civilisation.
Equally if you'd replace westerners in a first world western country with Africans then it would devolve into a third world country.
hypothetically, the knowledge isn't there but the brain capacity is.
The extent that they interbred with Black Africans, then yes, there would be people who didn't particularly look white. I don't see the point of this.

Their skin would become darker, but they wouldn't resemble the tribal Africans of today. It wouldn't matter for long if they didn't have technology. They have the brains and the know-how to create it. Moreover, their IQs wouldn't drop 30 points.
according to some studies... it can take around 3000 years if you change latitudes
and most ancient Europeans had darker skin colors around 3000 years ago, so, it seems to check out
