Im ex military so id be among the first drafted. Im not sure on your question. Currently the only country capable of carrying out a successful military invasion is the US, weve seen the failure of Russia in Ukraine. The Communist Chinese invasion of of Taiwan would lilely fail and they know it and any victory in Taiwan would be pyhric as too many soldiers, tanks and aircraft would be lost and Taiwan rich and economically developed would be so devastated that it would be worthless to china.

The Red Dawn scenario if it ever occured where armed militia with an AR15 each would be able to fight off armed invaders is largely bullshit. Trust me I was in Afghanistan and iraq and met such militias and we slaughtered them and that was without the advances in technology being fielded today. On my last deployment or company had humvees with the CROWS remote turret system. Basically turns a machine such as a 50 cal into a precise weapon that can fire almost as accurate as a sniper rifle, with range finding and balistic calculators, thermal optics, telescopic vision, motion trackers etc. Nowhere for a rifle man to hide, scary stuff.

I'm in Florida. We have 1.32 million veterans and the terrain is a mix jungle warfare and urban warfare. Any country dumb enough to invade this state will get everything they asked for. You don't come to this state. This state comes to you.

China's entire active duty military could try to invade Florida, and they would lose. There is currently no army large enough in the world to invade Florida and have a good outcome.

Software can tell you whatever you program it to say. In practice defending troops have a 3 to 1 advantage and a 5 to 1 advantage when fortified properly. Jungle warfare is the worst possible terrain for an invader to step foot in. 1.32 million trained military veterans many with recent combat experience with the assistance of 23 million Floridians wins all day every day against China's 2,035,000 active duty troops. It's not questionable. China has no chance against Florida alone, and Florida is not alone. Texas is pretty similar to Florida and we roll together.

And that's just the civilians you know like if most of our military is on the other side of the world fighting a war... lol We also have roughly 82,000 active duty troops that are currently stationed in Florida. Florida is also probably the most heavily defended airspace in the country. We have 1,160 aircraft and some of the best fighter pilots in the world. We're also the premier hub for naval aviation, not that China's 3 "aircraft carriers" would have any chance against the unsinkable aircraft carrier known as Florida or against Army Special Operations Forces Underwater Operations... Like I said, you don't invade Florida. We invade you.

So it is safe to assume Florida holds air superiority over a Chinese invasion which multiplies the advantage for Florida by a factor of 3 to 5 times. Being that Florida is home to hurricanes, most of our structures are built from concrete lending themselves to hardened position in urban combat scenarios. The swampy jungle terrain limits mobility and visibility of any advancing army leaving them bogged down in a quagmire against an enemy they can't see in a terrain that is trying to kill them.

Florida is also one of the largest manufactures of military equipment in the United States. For example, parts of Javelin anti-tank missile system that Ukraine begged to get their hands on to fight Russian armor are manufactured in Florida, then sent right across the border to Alabama to assemble the final product. Florida also manufactures fire control systems for Hellfire missiles, hypersonic missiles, and Long Range Anti-Ship Missiles (LRASM). We also manufacture the B-21 Raider which is a next generation stealth bomber as well as bomb bodies, artillery projectiles, Gatling guns, Trident submarine-launched ballistic missiles, small arms and ammo, many aerospace parts, soon Trump class battleships, among many other things like Avionics and Sensors, communication systems, satellites, unmanned aerial systems used for military surveillance, advanced microelectronics:, rocket engines, hypersonic motors, on and on and on granting Florida a significant technological edge.
