Like this is another example of what I'm talking about when I say some people shouldn't vote. First of all, the practice of reforestation, China is about the absolute latest to the game. We have probably planted more trees than China ever will and that's both domestically and foreign.

Also there are probably at this point thousands of documentaries and research papers about how much worse China is for the environment than every other developed country in the world combined.

This is common knowledge. It's on the same level as lead in vapes or the earth orbiting the sun or electricity coming to your house from power lines.

Carbon dioxide is plant food. If carbon dioxide in the atmosphere increased by 100%, except for corrupt governments, world hunger would be eliminated. There is no proof that the reduction of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere would be helpful to the climate. The climate change scam is nonsense. And for your information, India and China produce the majority of all air pollution and in particular carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. If there was a reason to reduce it, and there is not, it is the responsibility of India and China to do that, not the United States.

I think It’s a good step, i believe this was part of an effort to fight désertification.

Though your numbers are off, china is the #1 greenhouse gas producer bit It’s because they’re the manufacturer for most of the rest of the world so it’s émissions from making our products, if we produced it locallt our output would be marginally lower without the shipping (in theory).

That said, moving to china would be a mistake. The states has mostly open press so You’re actually hearing about the abusés or Power like ice, china is doing even worse stuff Just silencing dissent better

I'm generally sceptical about tree planting. It tends to be a box ticking exercise for politicians and companies to look like they're doing something.

The problem is people think its well spaced out trees over vast areas of lands that will one day become a woodland. In reality they pay some farmers who plants them a few inches apart in the corner of his field and a few days later his animals eat them.

On paper you've offset your pollution and your free to continue churning it out, but it's all just a scam.

The world has naturally greened by approx two Australias or 18 million square kilometres between 1982 and 2011 just due to us pumping out CO2.

What you are thinking of might be very wrong.

This greening was due to the extra CO2 in the atmosphere and CO2 reducing the amount water plants need.

There are two types of plants - C3 and C4 photo synthesis. Only a few are C4 - sugar cane and maize. The rest are C3 and they like higher concentrations of CO2.

In point of fact C3 plants suffer below 200 ppm and most of the world's plants came close to dying because CO2 levels got down to 180 ppm.

Unknowingly we saved the world by burning coal. Hurrah for steam engines! The naivety of anti-CO2 sentiment is disturbing and would have us all dead.

The adverse effects of China's huge contribution to terrible air pollution has been taking its toll on their own environment, aside from the drifts to other areas of the globe.

Better late than never to take steps to reversing the damage they've caused.

It's a good thing. I think it's funny that people blame China for pollution when they produce most of the goods in the world, a lot of countries are exporting their pollution to china by buying their stuff that they didn't have to produce in their own country. But of course China should still work on improving things. We'll see what happens.
