Violence is the one thing men have perfected over millennia, they need to justify it for when it's their turn

White men, especially, are taught to believe that force is the way to assert authority over those they deem inferior (couldn't mean POC, couldn't it?), thus resisters are dangerous thugs who must be extinguished at at costs, even when the force used is clearly unjustified, to show other "undesirables" the price of even the most passive resistance to authority.

Because real life is not an action movie. If you are confronted with a situation where you might die in a second or two, you act now. There is no "shoot em in the leg/tire" bs because you'd die trying to aim for it.

There is something between "shoot to kill" and "shoot ineffectively" that can be implemented.

No. When you aim a weapon at someone, you need to be ready for the possibility that the shot could kill. Getting shot anywhere can kill you if left untreated long enough.

I'm more aware of that than you are. That is still not an excuse. You don't necessarily need to shoot somebody ten times. It's a waste of ammunition, if nothing else.

People in life or death situations often fire multiple shots. When adrenaline takes over, it causes one to do it to make sure the threat is gone.

You know, you should really stop making excuses for this and just be man enough to admit that what happened is completely unreasonable and illegal. You can't defend everything these people do, not rationally.

The fact of the matter is she hit him with the car, whether she meant to or not. The officers were justified in trying to stop her. If she wasn't obstructing them, trying to protect murderers, rapists and scammers, and then trying to evade law enforcement, she would still be alive.

She didn't hit him with the car. All you have to do is look at the video. Nobody but you apparently thinks that she hit him with the car.

I did and he was admitted to the hospital because he was bruised where he was hit.
