Is the "left" aware of Iran executions and why aren't they upset?

It's funny how the U. S. paints some countries as "brutal dictatorships" and some not.
Why doesn't the U. S. sanction Saudi Arabia for human rights abuses? Why doesn't it sanction Israel for genocide?

And the U. S.'s solution to human rights abuses is to cut off their energy supplies, cripple their economies, and prevent them from accessing food and medical treatment. How humanitarian!
Or it engineers a revolution and puts a dictator in charge.

the difference is SA is somewhat in our pocket, he has control. SA is not trying to get nukes as far as I know and they buy our planes, stroke our businesses and are chummy. This is comparing apples and tuna fish.

Iran has all the energy it needs. If there was no sanctions on iran would the feed their people, build water and sewage infrastructure, provide medical treatment etc or like HAMAS did would they instead build even more rockets, buy even more weapons, build even more tunnels and attack their neighbours?
Remember iran choose to support extremists in yemen, gaza, iraq, syria and lebanon with massive amounts of money and military aid ratger than run their economy and feed their people. In short you can't eat a koran and Islamic extremism 🇺🇲

But when the Floyd got killed, they cared for like 2 solid years. When Israel got attacked, they said nothing until Israel retaliated to get their people back.

President „Obamina“ had certain diplomatic successes in dealing with Iran. The JCPOA treaty negotiated under the P5+1 format and signed in 2015 worked. Of course Trump, in his deranged hatred of anything Obama achieved, had to sabotage it and destroy what little diplomacy had existed at this point. His answer now is aircraft carriers and bombings. Not that this will help the tyrannized Iranian population in any form, of course.
