Free speech is a net negative on the world.


It’s ironic that it’s also what allows me to say what I just said


But clearly societies prospered a lot more back when words had consequences and decency was not only norm but also the law.


And it’s why we keep having these debates about the hypocrisy behind free speech
Where open love is welcomed but open hatred is scrutinized. As though one is free-er than the other.


True free speech is anarchy.
And no one can truly afford that
