You cannot be both. You are either a socialist/communist or you are democratic. The two are not compatible.

There are currently at least two dozen of these communists disguised as pro democracy politicians in positions of power across the country who call themselves "Democratic Socialists" including the mayor of the largest city in America. When are we going to wake up to stop this dangerous movement before it is too late? VOTE DEMOCRATS OUT until they stop their anti-American assault.

In a recent poll, 35% of young people support the "Democratic Socialist" movement. ONE OUT OF THREE! It's a wakeup call. This is a tremendous failure of the education system that better be turned around or the future of the country is doomed.

No, it's not like being sort of pregnant. Socialism is defined as government ownership of the means of production. That's completely orthogonal to whether the government is a democracy or not. Even if democratic socialism hasn't happened before, it doesn't mean that it can't.

Capitalism is failing us in a hundred ways (alongside rapidly destroying the biosphere at large), and people are starting to wake up to that reality.
