Well, let's separate Muslim culture from Muslims. Obviously, Muslim culture varies, but in general, Islam encourages. Beating of your wife, cousin marriages, death to apostates, non-Muslims being second class citizens, killing gay and trans people, women being second class citizens, it bans adoption, supports slavery, has no concept of separation of church and state. Sharia is basically the opposite of Western culture in every way.

Of course, individual Muslims can reject all these ideas, and be Western Muslims. Zohran Mamdani is a Westernized Muslim. He supports women's rights, LGBTQ people and even swore on the Quran (Muslims are supposed to swear only on Allah). Swearing on a holy text is a very Western thing.

Freedom of religion has always been a primary focus here, but from what I have seen the goal of the Muslim world is that everyone should be Muslim - fundamentally incompatible. I saw a video the other day taking about the Muslim world having low crimes rates, but when you consider stoning, cutting off hands and beheading are forms of punishment you understand why. The picture shows women wearing the American flag as a hijab, an indication they do not understand American culture - that image could be interpreted as an intention to subvert the West, not to seek a better life or a place where they can freely practice their religion, which they can do where they came from. If they are truly just looking for a peaceful life in the west, then great. However, Islamic leaders have shown time and again that the goal of the religion is conversion, not peaceful coexistence.
