The middle class is going to be gone leaving just rich and poor. Mostly poor. So the rich will buy all the homes and the poor will be renting or homeless.

Yeah 2 classes except the split... it'll be like 5% rich and falling as rich old estates die and are swallowed in full by taxation
And masses of poor who will own nothing and be happy prisoners just waiting for their execution dates
The first, which is becoming the norm.

The middle class is a relatively new thing. I can't really see the stat you are showing. The problem is the "middle class" is subjective. We don't have "classes" in the US we have income brackets that people constantly move up and down in. Around 12% of Americans will be in the top 1% of earners for 1 quarter of their life. ( and I mean business quarter)
Sadly, in many ways it's becoming harder to move up. Tariffs, license requirements, certain social attitudes, climate change regulations, etc., all make it harder to get ahead. These problems existed long before Trump, and will exist long after he's gone
If have to click it
wrong wrong wrong , We have always had classes , lower , middle, and Upper
We don't have classes, not in the US. A class is not an income bracket. A class is a social structure you are born into. You can't just move in or out of it. The ancient Romans had the patricians and the plebeians. We have never had anything like that. The closest we had was slavery and then segregation, but those were slightly different than classes.
nope. I hear it all the time
@emeraldsapphire, you are conflating classes with castes.
EVERY civilization has had classes of citizens, generally based upon their wealth and political influence.
You are born into castes, from which you can never rise, but you can be disgraced enough to be exiled.
I think there will still be those who are not poor, as in impoverished, but definitely not wealthy, as in they couldn't go years without a paycheck. However, that percentage of people is getting smaller all the time, in the USA.
If Trump and his associates are permitted to continue the current grift for 3 more years, it will take the US economy years to recover IF it can at all. By then, small businesses will barely make enough to keep themselves afloat, and corporations will control even more than they already do.
AI is coming. there's no stopping it. Think of it this way. When Ford launched the model T in 1908 there were horses, donkeys, mules doing all transportation of goods and people around cities and rural areas as well as all the farm work. Within 4 years there was more cars than horses, 10 years later you could barely give a horse away and theyd basically disappeared in cities and towns. What is my point you ask? Its 2026 AI has arrived and just like the horses in 1908 our labor and usefulness is going to be replaced by new technology.
President Trump's tariffs and largest tax cut will help bring good jobs back to America and put more money in the pockets of everyone. Also cutting credit card interest and making lowering interest rates will enable more Americans to own a home..
The Tariffs were the biggest tax increase in history
You numbers not the real numbers. I know I spent $155 on not even half a cart of groceries. Plus the chips are in smaller bag and everything else is smaller sized. Inflation is going up , let the Tariffs kick in 100% and when companies stop closing stores and laying off people , then it is higher prices. a lot higher.
Not sure if it will happen before he leaves or after but the economics don't change soon it will come to that
We have been there long before Trump. Since the Great Depression there have been the rich, the poor and a middle class that are only slaves to debt.
Trump will finish the job
I think it’s been heading that way for decades and the middle class is still fighting to have a place, so get rich or die trying
At least your idiocy is consistent.
You are the meaning of "You can't teach old dogs new tricks".
What would cause that to happen?
Because he only helps the rich.
Punishes the poor
That’s what the democrats want. 🤡🤡🤡
Only in your fevered mind
Like for the price to go down
Maybe so.
