How do approach others mental health issues at my work?

Im very privileged but I've never really struggled with mental health and pride myself on being really healthy mentally and physically but this means I sometimes struggle to understand or find sympathy for others struggling especially with my own generation and the fact mental health in my opinion is extremely over used and big farmer just wants to pump us full of pills to make lots money. Sickness is the business as I always say.

Im very big on natural remedies and finding the root causes to my health issues instead of using mediation i feel that results in a longer lasting cure.

I do think a lot of the raise in mental health does have do with gen z having a massive victim complex and they constantly use it as an excuse to be lazy or for shitty behaviour but I also do generally believe some people really do struggle also and because of these people all jumping on to the mental health wagon genuine people are getting pushed aside especially in the uk.

there's such a big waiting list to get help for mental health on the NHS because everyone wants a label now in my eyes meaning genuine cases usually these people actually really struggle to open up and talk about these things so give up easier out of fear of bothering others that generally hurts my heart to think about.

Maybe I lack a lot of sympathy but I believe to can have bad times in life and that doesn't mean your depressed it just means your human, humans are allowed to have certain personality traits and emotions without it being classed as mental health. I

I hear people my age say there depressed because there car got written off. When I think of mental health i think of people who've actually suffered like people who've fought in wars and seen there mates get killed not but there hamster died not exactly the same.

I come from the kind of family were if I said I was gonna off myself my parents would have replied "hurry up with it will you, were all sick of hearing about it"

I do have to deal with a lot of people who throw the mental health card as a get out of jail card at work and its really disgusting to me. I do see genuine cases and most are young men and I want to stay professional but also not cold
