i think the goal is to get rid of the poor people and perhaps deal with the less poor ones when they think they are safe. i see this happening right now to a sibling of mine. they don't realize it, but they're about to get laid off in the near future. they depend on that income for a lifestyle they couldn't keep up without a very well paying job.
either they got a promotion and think they are one of the safe ones or think that they're about to get married and will have more income? either way they will get fired. it's the goal of the company.
so after all of america is poor and only the politicians and billionaires are left, they will move in immigrants to replace you. some jobs are safe but anything tech-related is doomed. physical locations will disappear and be replaced by housing. most of the new housing around here has shops on the bottom and living space 30 stories up.
AI will take a lot of jobs that you don't realize. look at CBS and why they don't care. because AI will replace the humans for all of media. they just describe a few details of a narrative they want to push and it will be done. they might get creative to ease you into it. i'd watch for AI guest appearances.
but to your question. a lot of homeless people are a community. the true homeless know each other. those are the people that need the most help. it would cost hardly nothing. universal healthcare and free housing... i'm actually surprised that they aren't pushing for it. do more CEO's need to get assassinated?
Continue not doing something about Trump and the homeless population is going to reach 70% or worse.

The "homeless" are junkies usually crazy. I can live in my car if I want any time. Eventually I'd find a small cave or something, wall it off have electric lights, a solar panel, some old car batteries. I could hunt, fish, grow food. Welfare would be more than enough and no one would know I was even there. Eventually I'd find a job, if I continued to live that way I'd save up money even on minimum wage. The "homeless" get money and material goods handed to them and they spend it on booze and drugs.
Normal people that are working are the new homeless
Honestly, I think it's necessary due to you know who... the fed money printing... except some cars are so expensive now. I've met people living out of their cars, and it's awful. It's mental illness, but also logistical complexity. A car and a storage shed, with a social check, group facility with a toilet and shower like one of the rest stops.
Like we could come up with something for those that fall all the way down the ladder. And man, that can happen to anyone in this society fast!
we have that around here, somewhat. many places have nothing.
we already have Democrat Housing Projects. I wouldn't want to be there after dark.

Just put a lock on the zippers
Already bad in places like california. They raise the property taxes to pay for insane social programmes and people can't afford to pay their rents, mortgages or the property taxes themselves on their homes being retired. Talking to many of those that have left in the great californian exodus they say they've a choice between living in the street in california or selling up and moving away to a red state.
Madami is doing the same, he wants to raise property taxes by 10% in Newyork so what will happen is rents will go up by 10% and working homeowners will have difficulty paying and retired homeowners will lose their homes, and those with s mortgage might forfeit on their mortgage with the extra 10%.
In the past, we had vagrancy laws. Vagrancy laws were a set of rules used in different places and times to control people who were seen as undesirable or idle. These laws typically focused on people who did not have a permanent home, a regular job, or a clear way to support themselves. While the specific rules changed depending on the time and location, they generally allowed authorities to regulate where people could be and what they could do if they appeared to be wandering without a clear purpose.
In the future, there will be designated facilities for vagrants. In the south during the depression they were called county farms. The difference between them and prisons were that those people could leave when they showed that they would have a place to live and work. What many were indigent, and didn't have any place to go or work. So they decided to stay because they could get free food and lodging. That is likely how we will get vagrants, AKA the homeless, off the streets.
It is not safe in cars because the police will not leave them alone.
these are safe zones
Why will the problem get worse? Is Newsome in charge of reducing homelessness nationwide?
Newsome is not the President
Well first of all you're not homeless if you have a car. You got a place to sleep, transportation, and a delivery/uber type job! For those that can't apply themselves, tow em out!
is a car a house?
It can be with the right attitude and some lumber..
What could possibly go wrong?
Probably 60%
30% maybe
