Some are born with issues that may or may not manifest in what you consider an evil way. For example, I know I'm very capable of murder. I have 0 moral issues with it, I'm calculating and I have a very bad temper. But was I always like this? No, I had the capacity for it since birth, and life circumstances drew that sickness to the surface.

yep. we all have the capacity. some seem more severe than others, then add into it parenting and environment. I had some really crazy neighbors and some really good ones. luck of the draw.
how do you know she never acted on it? have you inspected her back yard?

one persons evil is anothers pleasure or security. its the knowledge of good and evil, bible right about that. In essence, the study of selfishness until we are disintegrated and reabsorbed into "everything", where we get recycled.

Innocent because they haven't done anything yet (presumably for most), but just because they're children doesn't mean they don't have developing psychological problems. It's always there and something sets it off at some point.

I think it's almost always a combination of nature and nurture. Some people are born psychopaths but they aren't necessarily dangerous. Some become dangerous.

Also I hate this “I had a bad childhood” excuse. Many people or probably everyone experiences rough moments in their life and never go out of their way to commit murder.
