Inflation taking off again folks. Yet we are told everything is booming. How? Inflation back up. GDP only 1.4% . Iran war will send gas prices back up. National Debt almost $40 Trillion Only hope, Tariff removals will reduce inflation and prices. You can thank Supreme Court for that , even though Trump and hinge men will take credit. You better hope Democrats take back House , that will slow Trump's wars and policies that hurt Americans.

this is where all of those bad decisions come into play. relying on other countries to sustain your economy and reaping zero benefits. well... we're fucked. no one is going to help us. we've made it a point to be in incredible debt. (what has that debt got the American people?) the world hates the USA as much as Israel right now. we can't even rely on western allies anymore.

Prices will not drop because of the supreme courts decision. That’s not how it works. Someone jacks up their prices for whatever reason they will never lower them again UNLESS they have competition from other sources and even then it’s no guarantee someone’s prices will go down and not the other competitor raises his prices.
Also the Supreme Court said Trump couldn’t impose tariffs under IEEPA but he could under different statues and laws so tariffs are. It going away.
As for gas prices due to Iran. Maybe we should invade and take their oil as our own. (That’s just to trigger the leftists).

If they end up stopping Trump from using Tariffs , prices will drop. if Trump uses 15% Tariffs instead of 50% tariffs , prices will drop some.

I’m not sure what kind of farm you deal with but the one I deal with has chickens running around my feet when I am walking to the store, the cows are a couple hundred feet away I can walk over and pet my future steaks. Neither the chickens nor the cows need anything from a foreign country. In fact the farmers where I am at HATE anything foreign. So I’m not sure how tariffs will affect them. Next time I’m there I’ll ask.

So you really know nothing about farming do you? You think they are buying feed from China? No…. They are buying it from the farm 10 miles down the road that grows feed corn. The chickens are free range, they eat whatever and the cows roam the fields all spring, summer and fall. Now during the winter…. Hay and feed corn all locally purchased. I’m talking real farms not corporate mega-farms those are garbage farms.

I live there…. All these farms I speak of I live within 3 miles from my house. I talk to these farmers weekly. They are not getting anything from Russia, China, Cuba, North Korea…. What you are talking about is short term thinking. The Chinese government has a policy of protectionism for its own industries slapping huge tariffs on American goods and has done for skme time. It subsidises the Chinese car industry, allows the Chinese car industry to steal car designs, pays workers nothing and intends to destroy competing industries so thst they can charge what they like.
You only have to look at the British car industry which was no2 in the world no longer exists, the Germans and Japanese destroyed the British car industry.

Once upon a time the pound was the reserve currency and Britain was no1 on production of manufacturered goods and cars.
Tariffs worked really well for the British before WW2. They were largely able to keep US manufactured goods out of their empire. Tariffs have been working really well for china this last 40 years. They've kept foreign goods such as cars from Japan, the US and the EU from being sold in china while copying foreign designs such as Honda (Yonda) and the Chinese government subsidising their car industry and keeping workers on slave wages to out compete the US and destroy the US car industry. Japan and the EU have their own tariffs and are keeping the Chinese out and have very successfully kept the US cars out of Japan and Europe which is why you see no American cars in Japan and Europe.
So as you see tariffs do work, there's decades of proof that tariffs work, its only when the US introduces tariffs that anyone has a problem. Only the US and britain is foolish enough not to protect its own industries that so many taxpayers depend on.

January 2025 was 3.0%

The rate of inflation may have decreased slightly in one period. Prices are still increasing. That is inflation for the math challenged.
