What is the man baby in the White House trying to do? He wants someone to respect him. He's been desperately chasing respect since he was a child and his daddy told him he was a disappointment. But tRump couldn't even articulate that. He lacks the self awareness to understand his own motivations.

Aside from that, there is no plan. tRump is a literal moron. He doesn't understand economics, law, or simple math. He can barely form complete sentences. His "policies" are just the emotional outbursts of a child mind with no constraints. That's why they change daily depending on who he thinks insulted him most recently.

The ever changing tariff policy makes the US impossible to do business with. It's clear there's no plan and driving every country to cut deals with China. Trump's policy was a gift to China and their aspirations to be the global leader.

Personally I love the tariffs. I hope he does more of them. I have advocated tariffs and other protectionist policies for at least a few decades.

He is simply restoring, as best he can, the tariffs SCOTUS ruled are invalid. This time, he is using two different laws that clearly allow the President to establish tariffs. Tariffs are being used to provide a more favorable balance of trade with countries, and are also used to stimulate trade negotiations.
