I would hope that He does understand what "liberty" means and that He would allow me to voice my takes on Palestine (heavily differing from His own) without persecution. I would also point out that the heaviest burden a lot of Americans must first learn to carry these days are themselves and their bodies. All in all, though, I would wish the USA the best in their righteous clash with the EU - only thing I don't get is why is this paper tiger of a totalitarian, terrorist international organization still standing.

I doubt Americans would want to hear the words pay any price or meet any hardship. When politicians say "we" they mean "you" and such statements are open to interpretation, they sound very warlike as if he's preparing mothers to lose sons or asking people to endure missiles raining down on cities.

I don't think I would agree with him. Especially in the modern age when our reach as a country is so vast. I can see this applying in the past, and it sounds like something one of our forefathers may have said. However, if the liberty in question is in our own country, then I would agree with it.

We do not know. But one thing if he backs down from setting up so much and making threats, he will lose all credibility and no one will believe him again. Look at this: if he starts the war with Iran. Iran is close with Russia. The USA helps Ukraine. The two wars could Unite together and then Israel could join...
