There is zero reputable psychiatric or psychological associations that classifies TDS as a mental illness. There is no medical communities that classifies it as a mental illness.

It isn't just MAGA, people on both sides have a habit of denying science, but for different reasons, A left wing media outlet, recently did an article on how natural immunity is a dangerous conspiracy theory, despite the fact there is scientific evidence that natural immunity exist and in some cases can be more effective then artificial immunity. While Trump Derangement Syndrome isn't a mental illness, it is something very real, and it isn't something one sided, it exist on both sides, you have MAGA's who believe Trump can do no wrong and become intolerant towards anyone who doesn't agree with everything he does, then you have people on the left, who believe everything Trump does is evil, and become intolerant towards anyone who doesn't spend every second reminding everyone of how much they hate Trump.

There are plenty of doctors that identify TDS as a real psychological condition. They will not go public because most of their patients are liberals (who else needs to see a shrink?) and they would go to another doctor.
