Nobody this way ends up closeted because you're not shamed for who you are, just that you make your private stuff public.

In fact, way less people will get closeted this way than in a liberal sodomland, because you cannot closet something that isn't unboxed in the first place. In order to tell someone that their sexuality is bad, you first have to make them grasp what is bad. So law enforcement cannot closet a decent person, as law enforcement does not really affect how you view feelings, usually parents do. Unless law enforcement goes around saying "having feelings for the same gender is wrong", you cannot be closeted by them. Instead they will go saying "If we see you engaging in same gender sex, we will jail you". Well no shit, it's already considered indecent to fuck in public. Suck as many cocks as you want, just don't do it like the toilet senator.

But there is another issue of what normalizing sodomy does. We should stop the dissolution of healthy boundaries under guise of freedom fighting.

Stop breaking the human's equivalent of a nesting instinct, where sexuality logically requires commitment and provision. Detaching sexuality from the nesting instinct makes more of orphans. And raises perversions.

But I'll be asked "so what to do when you get horny? We just commit to the first person we see?

I'll have to double down distinguishing humanity from something akin to scavengers who smell blood and enter some unavoidabe frenzy. The solution to "WE ALL GET HORNY AND NEED TO RELEASE" comes from the most obvious anatomical fact. 90% of semen is just cowpers gland, prostate gland and seminal vesicle fluid. It is not sperm. All 3 of these glands are surrounded by muscles that you can learn to use to expell the semen. 0 sexual stimulation. When you empty them the sexual urges suddenly disappear. There is no sensor in the scrotum that tells your nervous system sperm maturity. It's all in the seminal fluid. When you purge the fluid, you do not need to orgasm to become "clear headed", and you do not need the mess of a wet dream either, which skyrockets prolactin and makes you sleepy anyway. You quit needing sexual indulgence in order to function.

So there is my opinion. We need more decency, but not be selective, e. g. straight people shouldn't harass and reduce each other either.

Don't you think the 14 US states that were forced by the Supreme Court (in 2003!) to make same-sex sexual activity legal wouldn't jump at the chance to go back.

The problem is having laws based on religion, it doesn't much matter which religion.

Several thoughts come to mind. First of all, it’s their country, so they can do as they please.

But I find this law rather shameful.

The most interesting point is how the populist left will handle this in our Western countries. After all, this left is deeply pro-immigration, displays a certain affinity with Islam—even its most radical forms at times—and at the same time holds a pro-LGBTQ stance.

You cannot support immigration when the values of those immigrants are opposed to your own values...

In my opinion it is the problem for the citizens of Senegal to manage on their own. It isn't my business nor the business of the US. My belief is that all persons should have total control of their own body. I obviously wouldn't likely agree with the choices they make, but that is not an issue for me.

My opinion is it has no impact on me or anyone I know so I have no stake in game. They certainly are not the first to do so and with birth rates there droping more rapidily then much of the world and I can see a few reasons for their perspective although it is not one that I share.

I would say a lot of homosexuals are scarred from traumatic childhoods or blunted emotional attachments by negligent or absent caregivers and they need healing and therapy, not to change their gender, but to recover from their internal scars and emotional wounds. You can't remove LGBT inclinations by condemning it, you have to heal the torment and pain that caused them to desire sex in unconventional ways.

And, what good would that do? That would NOT be ANY form of punishment!! Gay sex is rampant in prisons so, it's NOT like they're gonna STOP anything buy putting them in jail!! Several is an Independent country and can pass laws that it's people want.

Having said that, it's sad to punish someone for what they do in private. At least it's only a prison sentence, not death like in some countries.
