Iran sells oil and gas to China and US tries to isolate China from Oil and Liquid gas supplies. This strategy is ridiculous since Russia will supply those resources to China.
Another reason is Israels aggressive expansion, Iran opposed it with proxy conflicts and terrorism support. Trump and US politician which support Israel see themself obliged to support Israel in its war and genocide of Arabic Semites.

Brics. Argentina, China, Iran, Russia, North korea had close to 40% of oil traded in something other than the us dollar. Since the us dollar isn't backed by gold anymore, oil being traded in the us dollar is the only thing that gives it value. Also aipac bought our politicians and or blackmailed them into doing Israel's bidding.

After all, Iran has been around for thousands of years. The USA has barely been around for a couple of centuries and caused nothing but problems.

We don't need Iran, and 90% of the oi that passes through the strait of hormuz goes to China, the US gets 80% of it's oil domestically and from Canada which is the forth largest oil producer in the world.
