Because Iran wants the total destruction of Israel. It's no different than watching the movie Halloween and realizing that Iran is the Michael Myers of the Middle East; they will not stop until Israel is dead.

Iran is seeking nuclear weapons and Iran is building up its arsenel and Iran is funding these militias: Houthis in Yemen, Hamas in Gaza, Hezzbollah in Lebanon, and Allah knows who else - like perhaps the Taliban in Afghanistan. They are at the single greatest influencer and supporter of all the terrorism and fundamentalist Islam militancy for the past almost 50 years.

The Iranian people may be fine, but their theocracy needs to come to an end which most of them wish anyway.

Frankly, the Iranians should be happy I'm not President. I first would have sought a declaration of war in secret. Once achieved, any war is legal. Then I would take them out with the ruthlessness of the United States toward the end of World War II. And that would include a few neutron bombs.
