The truth is: a kid with one parent isn’t instantly doomed


By a kid requires a father figure and a mother figure for an ideal upbringing especially in the early formative years


Even if the mom is “super mom” and does everything right there are things she will never be able to pass onto her kid in terms of personal values and behavior
And vis versa.


So single parenthood is a horrible idea for the kid.
And the concept of sperm donor clinics allowing women to have a child alone is cruel to the child


The only saving grace some kids get is when they replace the missing parent with a close relative
For instance an uncle could be the father-figure example for his nephew or niece
Or even a grandmother
But they need to be present and available

I moved out of my mom's house when I was 16 and a half and I always wanted to know who I've really was cuz I didn't know my real dad and I think that saved me because the first night that I moved out I realized I didn't know anything about life at all and I was going to have to learn it very quickly

And that was a whole other time and generation

But if a single parent does not put any time or wisdom into their kids right now the odds are they're going to fail or they're going to have to do what I did and that was to take it on and learn everything in the world that I can learn and try to become the best I could become

Few pretty apples on tree don't make a great apple harvest. I find lot of men raised by women have this beautiful prince of Peter Pan syndrome in higher or weaker extent. This is observable in high stress situations when they lose their head and switch into ape mode. However this only a tendency.

Yes via verified statistics they are pretty much doomed , you will always find some opposite examples , but you also don't know how much ' better ' these skilled individuals could have become.

Not necessarily 100%, but a large majority of society’s problem children do come from single mother homes. What you’re doing is selecting from a small group of people who became successful. Those are exceptions, not the general rule of what is usually produced from single mother homes.

It is single parents of children of black parents. Obama was raised by his white mom and white grandparents, his grandmother is the one mostly the caregiver. His black father left. He is a product of white culture.

And Kamala was raised by her Indian mother, not her black father.

And no, nine US presidents were not raised by single mothers. Only 4 were (look it up). That's 4 out of 45, and those are the exceptions to the rule I was referring to.
