What could humanity achieve if the whole world truly worked together?

It seems to me that there would be no limit to what we as humans can do, if the entire world strive for the same goals for the Human Race. Medically, Socially, morally? We would have solved world hunger years ago, world peace years ago, we would be on Mars by now and the Human Race would probably know now limits or boundaries if we all pulled in the same direction. There would not be anything our Human Race could not do.

Well, I give up on any further "what if' questions, since I believe I explained what it would take to achieve this Nirvina place in the universe, and everybody just read over that and put in their 'won't happen" shots.

There’s a fascinating episode on Star Trek the next generation. 300 years from now they won’t even know what money is. You don’t need money if the “replicator” will make whatever you want. We are already moving that direction with AI and quantum computers. Andrew Yang ran his presidency on the notion of universal basic income. He wanted every legal citizen to get $1000 per month. Where would the Money come from? From the labor of robots. Robots do the work and the government taxes large companies that use the robots. The crew on the starship worked there because they wanted to, not because of a Monetary reward.


The other fascinating concept from an episode was television. They said that television was a ”fad” that people just got sick of.
I can easily see that happening, because I’m already sick of it. There are just so many other things to do that are better than watching television.

It would be amazing. Just look at waht the US was able to accomplish post WW2 while it was still very united after the war. The 50s and 60s were a renaissance of science, medicine , technology and culture that the world has never seen before, Imagine if the whole world was like that.
