There is no reason why they wouldn't continue to fall. Production is expanding faster than consumption this year (and next year) and Middle East nations have filled their storage during the supply shock which they will be forced to dump in order to continue production. Additionally, if the ceasefire holds, oil sanctions on Iran will be reduced or removed for the new regime putting a lot more oil on the market. Additionally, sanctions on Russian oil have also been eased. More oil available, means more competition to sell driving prices lower. While there is a lag period of 2-4 weeks from crude oil price drops to gasoline price drops due to transport time of crude, refinery batch time, and transport time of refined fuels to retailers, prices should drop beneath prewar prices in the near future and stay much lower in the future due to what America has accomplished under Trump's leadership.

To put this in perspective, and without knowing the exact conversion from liters to gallons, around the start of the year, you could fill up a 50 liter gas tank (regular car tank capacity) for 55 euros. That's over 64 dollars. Just before the war started, it was already 70 euros or 82 dollars. I filled up yesterday : 94 euros or 110 dollars. That's a massive increase. Everyone knows how far a full tank of gas will take you before you have to fill up again. Four times a month is a good chunk out of our wages.
