Why is femininity devalued while masculinity is glorified in society?

Femininity is so hated.. my whole life I’ve been treated so mean for being feminine. Why? What is it about the human species that praises masculinity and hates femininity? Masculinity causes violence and war.. it causes people to compete and be angry and look down on others. Femininity is beauty, gentleness and nurturing. Why is it hated while masculinity is praised?
