Keep in mind he started out really rough in life. Had a nice big family and then whamo... those noisy kids and stressed mom, possibly pmsing or just having a temporary lapse in thinking hits the gas pedal at a red light and is side smashed by a truck. She and other siblings killed, Hunter survived. Lost his mom young. Dad just started working as a senator after getting out of law school.

So was there guilt, shame, angst? He got a new mom, he's lucky, lot of kids out there have no parents. But still, that will mess with ya for a long time. Possibly require illegal drugs and other bad behaviors.

We don't know Hunter that well, but this is the core of Hunters life.
