What are your views on euthanasia and should it be legal?

person in my opinion has right to do it themselves , sad and sick governments in Canada and Europe are pushing it Canada was terminal ill and in pain now reports soldiers with ptsd. kids with depression , cannot afford the home you want , and dr of the government run healthcare are ordered to pus the procedure. a report in Europe i nt saying country as i don't remember for sure but family can request it even if the patient objects but if there too much a burden that gov ok the procedure. pleas read history of 1938 era wher nazi cut the expense of mentally ill, crippled children low iq. disabled hospitalized elderly and ww1 soldiers all were exterminated predating the holocaust but they were the first. later the experimentation on prisioners twins were special danger and tortured. ifyou ignore history it will repeat almost always the bad history

I think it should be restricted to the last days of a persons life and just extra pain killers and something to suppress breathing not necessarily kill.

Euthanasia seems to be done for a lot less than the extreme today. I am concerned that the government will push people to do it to keep costs down. We will be truly expendable cogs in a wheel when that happens. They will keep lowering that bar for it too. Old people in old age homes, people who need nurses around the clock, retarded kids, people with terminal illnesses that are expensive to treat… just down, down, down to then people who don’t pay enough taxes, who can’t work anymore, who have beliefs not allowed. Down, down, down until they get to you.

People might disapprove but I say God gave us free will and we do not have a right to interfere with a person’s freedom of choice. The only forced medical intervention I support, is making illegal drugs a criminal offense. I believe medical treatments should never be denied for severe cases when the government can afford to alleviate fear and trauma, and that medical intervention should always be optional.

I think everyone should be able to choose if their life ends, especially those looking down the barrel of a terminal disease that will cause them to lose their mind like dementia or alzheimer’s

It is in my jurisprudence. I think it ought to be legal for terminal illnesses; mostly where it is painful. Unfortunately estate heirs can be eager to get the money and bullying of parents or grand parents to hand over their estate before they die so I could see persuasion to take the green pill happening.

There needs to be safe guards in short.

My views are very nuanced. As someone who has watched several family members waste away from terminal cancer, it's a nightmare. They should be given the dignity we afford to our pets to go peacefully and quickly.

As someone who has seen what Canada does with its MAID program, it's now a cost cutting method for their "free" healthcare and they're killing more people than a serial killer. This is pure evil.

I would consider allowing people to volunteer to be escorted out in Hospice if they are in horrible pain. I have observed this issue with three family members.

Im all for it in certian circumstances. If it avoids pain and prolonged suffering for the patient and their family and friends. Yes it should ne legalised but strictly policed
