I work as a security guard and I noticed since a couple of years ago people getting mad over the stupid things. For example, this one guy went psycho just because I didn't allow him to stay at the jacuzzi longer than closing time. He was by himself and went overload. He said I am a pussy, yelled at the top of his lungs. I had to call the police because he threatened me with beating me up. Another guy said he is not going to leave the card table with his family and friends and had a weird staredown.

I think people have become worse since the pandemic. When I worked in retail as a cashier after covid I was helping a lady check out. She wanted to pay with cash which was fine but the computer I was using wasn’t working so I had to move to another one where a couple were waiting to be helped. I finished my transaction with the first lady. Then couple comes up and asks why I didn’t help them when they were standing right there. I had to explain to them that the computer I was on wasn’t working and had to use another one. They said that’s not a good excuse and then complained that I let that lady pay in cash. I don’t know why they felt so entitled or what their deal was.
Dang that is stupid, also do you think it has to do with Americans working too much, things costing too much, etc? And also people became densentized to people being crazy. I told people about the jacuzzi things and the card thing and most people just say it is weird. In the past people would have said more things like"dang people that act up over things like that are weird!" People becoming used to people being crazy or what
I’m in Canada so I don’t know if it has to do with Americans specifically. I think more people feel controlled and therefore feel more entitled because other people just make life complicated for them. It’s probably multiple things.
Historically the witch trials you were guilty if you floated on water and of you drowned you were innocent.
Maybe it's more about how position of influence are more accountable. From there people with no influence have very little consequences and act out like lunatics sure but how much hrm can they do?
I've definitely noticed
