With falling birth rates, are humans actually headed for extinction?

A lot of couples, including me doesn't want to have babies.
Also many countries are facing lower birth rates.
I see like after some generation people will completely stop having babies.
Being realistic how many years?
Or you think it will change?

Lack of meeting their replacement rate is a problem for all wealthy countries. Meanwhile, Muslims reproduce like rabbits. So what is happening, is a silent invasion one baby at a time. There's going to have to be a major change in Western culture to fix this problem.

Yes, I know I am a Christian, but I think that the only solution is going to be one that many people do not like. Our Jewish ancestors in the Old Testament period understood that there was both a shortage of men because of combat deaths and a shortage of children. So the culture was revised, permitting multiple wives.

At some point, Western culture is going to have to supplant morality with practicality. If we are going to save Western culture, we are going to have to raise more children within the culture to carry our traditions with them. What that means is changing the laws to not only permit but to promote polygamy.

Our replacement rates are such serious issues that we do not have the time for our culture to change its attitudes. We are going to have to provide incentives for people who can afford it to have more children. For example, there was one doctor in India that had many wives and had 100 children.

The wealthy among us should be permitted to have multiple wives not for the purposes of diversity, but for the purposes of reproduction. I know you are not going to like this.

No, because life expectancy is outpacing the decrease in birth rate. That's why we have a population increase. Increased population is not due to birth rate, but because people are not dying.

Since a major part of the increase in longevity is due to increased survival rate of babies, it not only means they live, but also means they are far more likely to make it to breeding age.

You could say that more people have less children, but the net result is an increase in population.

India is going to be a starved country, China and Japan have lower birth rates than their death rate then due to china slowing down there factories will cause issues in the world like less resources.

Yea, Japan has a decreasing population, and a rapidly aging population. As far as I know both China and India are growing. China was stagnant for a long time, then suddenly increased. India is triple the population that it had when I learned that stuff in school. There are some other countries that have been rapidly growing, some of which are poor and can't afford all those kids.

I suspect there have been several times in human history when they almost went extinct. But that was all thousands of years ago when survival was not easy.

India is not growing, there is a new threat on them.
Starvation, due to the conflict in Iran and the toll system.
India will have too much inflation very quickly.
And currently 10 ISH% are dying due to hunger, it will be 20% in next 5 years if the toll tax on strait implemented.
+ India is currently in a bad shape when it comes to agriculture. Soil has been damaged in major places.
So farming is going to be impacted as all the fertilizer are imported😅.

Everything I'm seeing from multiple sources says that India is still growing and is projected to continue growing. The birth rate is falling, but not enough to cause a decrease in population.

I checked China also. Yes, it has declined slightly in the last few years. I don't know if it's enough to indicate a long term trend.

not humans, some parts of the world are having way too many babies. It's only some parts of the developped world, like japan and south korea that could be facing national annihiliation in a couple hundred years. In the us and most of Europe, with our current birthrate we're not nearing extinction.

It is definitely a threat. Younger people in America and western countries are victims of anti-Western civilization propaganda pushed by China and their allies to make them less likely to do their part when it comes to procreation and survival of the species. The idea is to produce fewer children and especially young men of optimal military age so that China can dominate America militarily as well as economically.

There are at least a couple of generations now who are mixed up about what normal behavior is and are going to regret later that they had no children after it is too late for them to do anything about it (but don't bother trying to convince them because they lack the perspective to understand it). And of course it is a demographic trend that is already doing great harm to western civilization as well. Exactly what America's enemies are aiming for.

China is also on a demographic death spiral. India is not. When they fix destructive cultural issues like Suttee and properly industrialize to serve their own population, they will be the next super power.

That's true and in large part because of their ban on female children decades ago a very stupid move. They have been working furiously to correct it.

But they are treating demographics the same way they treated Covid. Once they realized they were going to have mass casualties and costs related to Covid within their own country they intentionally sent out planeloads of infected people to the rest of the world... Europe and particularly America in order to be sure that we would have the same problem here and also suffer severe losses. That kind of behavior is why they are the biggest threat to this country of all of our adversaries.

They are doing the same thing with demographics now that they know they have a problem with it by pushing propaganda about all kinds of sexual and behavioral psychoses here on our younger generations in order to minimize their procreation to try to give us a problem even worse than theirs.

Most of the countries that are shrinking population, are small isles! The other 150 country all increased even china ! despite smaller total each year, past 3 years is still more than in 2015. It grew.
