Is it true that in some EU countries now you can get fined for public swearing or badmouthing public figures/religion?

Poland completely shocked me, as we swear the most after French. It's practically part of our culture, and every Polish person swears, public or not.

I didn't check any other countries, but if these reports are true, Europe has completely lost its fucking mind!

I often shit on the U. S., but I'm greatful to live in a country where we still have freedom of speech.

I suspect these are countries that sufferred severely when order was lost and words resulted in massive death. So they are controlling the words.

China is also very contained.

What they don't outlaw is the feelings or what caused the feelings.

LOGICAL? There's nothing logical about fining someone for using profanity. This Europe, not the Middle East
