What does LGBT rights suppose to mean?

I thought in pretty much every western countries they do have the same type of rights as people who aren’t LGBT.

Here’s the thing, It doesn’t have any specific meaning.

To simplify it down to what it really is, There are basically different factions of gay people, They agree on some things and they don’t agree on other things, There are some terms that different factions prefer and some terms that other factions prefer, And what might be considered a slur to one faction is considered a term of endearment to another faction.

And then all of these factions have different ideologies, and low-key kind of hate each other Most of the time.

lGBT rights, Is one of those points of contention between the different factions.

For example, There are many of these groups that don’t even believe in the “T” in “LGBT” Then there are some that kids Should be able to get Irreversible “corrective surgery” Without parents consent When they’re only like 12 years old or something. Under the same token, Some of them say that they can undergo surgery, but only with parental consent.
Then son groups say they can’t do surgery at that age, but they can’t have hormone blockers, And then some of them say that they can’t Have hormone blockers Without parental consent, Then there are even others that believe no form of corrective action should be taken until they are adult adults, and then, even beyond that there are some who just Don’t believe in what most would Call “trans rights”.

Something worth note in what I mentioned, Is often times in these points of contention, Depending on what group they are in, They will just entirely deny the existence of these other ideologies, I’m pretty sure it’s because they are trying to maintain their PR.

As a summary, It’s a blanket label used by a factionized group With their own beliefs and agendas, Who are quite frankly, only very loosely tied together, And even then, it is like they are on the brink of a civil war at all times.

Not even close. It took until 2015 for gay marriage to become legal in the US and there is already a push to make it no longer recognized by states. Trans people can't even use public bathrooms in some states and have been made a felony or have bounties placed on them. The US government is rolling back LGBT protections in the workplace. Some states are making it illegal to even fly the pride flag. Hell, Trump wants 166 million to fund the FBI so that they can label LGBT as domestic terrorists and come after us.

So tell me, how are we equal? They want to invalidate my marriage. Heterosexual people dont face that kind of thing.

Some people want the right to get away with lying, grifting, bullying and thieving and be able to call people bigots when they get called out.
You see, the LGBT acronym stands for Lying, Grifting, Bullying, Thieving. Thats what my pal @DrPepper12 taught me here when he told us he thinks LGBT should be illegal Do you think LGBT should be illegal?

Far FAR from it. Women suffrage is 1920s. Civil rights movement is 1960s. The aids/hiv pandemic and withholding of vital information or due diligence of public safety and services was ib the 1980s.

Now we have trans right up for debate. Anyone that can be considered secondary class puts everyone in danger of losing rights.

In 50 years you can be angry at a new thing you don't understand if that helps you understand.

Western countries is a misleading term, it has relevance when thinking in terms of GDP, but the more you dig societies themselves, the more you see how they differ, socially, philosophically, morally and legally. If you compare, say, Germany and USA, you'll find how big the gap is.

You know how people are racists and discriminate against other races? The LGBTQ+ community also faces discrimination with the same level of hatred and vitriol as racists. I'm going to say this as nicely as possible. Please become more aware of what's going on in the world. Not just in your own little bubble. If not, people will view you as ignorant. At any rate, take care. This will be my only comment. :)

Basically special privileges and no accountability.  I reapplied to every college that rejected me stating that I was LGBTQ and everyone of them accepted me. Thats LGBTQ rights.
