Republicans in congress are preparing to hold "round table" meetings instead of proper hearings into scandals like the Epstein files.

That would to eliminate committee members' ability to make motions, call witnesses, and subpoena Administration officials.

Unlike formal hearings, roundtables carry no rules, require no witnesses to testify under oath, and provide no opportunity for Members to offer motions or subpoenas. They also strip minority Members of basic protections guaranteed under House rules, including the right to invite witnesses and have their questioning time respected.

So, basically, carte blanche for people to refuse to be questioned and for those to turn up to lie to the committee with no legal consequences. There aren't even rules of decorum!

The Epstein file is a non issue at this point. Only democrats are implicated in it. Democrats keep calling Trump a pedophile yes Joe Bidens daughters diary was disappeared after the FBI recovered it. Personally I think the nation would rather see that
