Why aren’t Western progressive women more vocal on women’s rights abuses in Africa and the Middle East?

Seems the plight of such women are being ignored. Thousands killed... raped, abused. Many slaves in Middle East. Sometimes stoned to death or hanged.

The middle east laws against women are bad enough... they are property. If raped, they are subsequently blamed and then murdered. Where are the cohorts of women complaining... or do they expect men to lead with military and economic force?

African farmers murder victims of Islam...

Shouldn't there be outcries, marches, planned objections. Should they be organizing a strong force against such foes?

Public beheading in Saudi Arabia...

Women love to talk, why aren't they talking more about such things?

You can only thank our US Military, Constituion and thus Freedoms long paid for... and be thankful where you were born if you are one of the lucky ones to be free... for now.

Yes, Islamic countries are more strict when it comes to morality. But it seems like American conservatives would like more laws like that here in the U. S.

If as an Indian feminist, I'll speak of Pakistani women getting mistreated by in laws, people would say it doesn't concern me because it's not applied to me, so why cause a fuss?

For what it's worth, I feel white women should have some kind of organization. Granted, most females from oppressed cultures won't be able to participate due to lack of freedom, but white women in general have more liberties and well, feminism first emerged from there so why not. Other countries will derive inspiration from them 😽

As far as women go:
A middle eastern woman lives a much easier and happier life than a western woman.
She can choose to have everything provided for her. Live like a queen
Or chose to get an education and go work, even travel.
Look at the staff of any company anywhere in the world and you’ll find Middle Eastern women working there.

There's plenty of concern about FGM, for example, but you can't stop it by force, and you fight the battles you can win, like through elections at home.

Women yield a lot of power, you should see how active these girls are on east coast. They could color their hair differently, cut if off, talk more, go on marches, protests, write letters, stop various activities like mating with boyfriends or start others. They just need a leader and coordination.. and the passion to do so.

1st... no more sex for males until the problem is dealt with! Problem solved!

You're suggesting that Western women ( by that you mean North American women?) should deny men sex to men in North America until... the men in North America do something about women being abused in the Middle East and Africa? Is that what you're saying? How will that do anything?

Then you're saying no Western women should buy alcohol or coffee because this will do... what exactly... to change the behaviors of abusers in Africa and the Middle East? I'm not seeing how this connects at all.

:) If every woman in N. America denied sex to every man in N. America, here's a list of a few things that would happen:

A) That would never happen in the first place because
B) Even if somehow it did, you'd see violence against women in N. America increase as well
C) Lots of men would go to different parts of the world to find sex and relationships with women
D) Or, they'd seek out non Western women to come to them.

People are being killed all over the world; the Sudan, Gaza, the West Bank, Myanmar, Chad, Yemen, etc. Western women shutting down sex and not buying alcohol will accomplish absolutely nothing to help those situations, but it would affect the USA if they kept it up for at least 5 years.
