LGBT group are going to host a event / festival at the same place where Sodom and Gomorrah took place.
1.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. You have to look at it two different ways or you don't have to but I mean everything we do in life there's two different sides of it I believe in the way that it is
like what you say a form of mock.. it's like the boys or girl that gets drunk and they cheat on their partner somehow in their mind they justify it just like these people they think that they're doing something good or maybe trying to for forgiveness or who even knows but whatever it is it's completely opposite of what the real meaning of it is
But that's not between me and them I mean That's between them and God Maybe God will see a different who knows I always have to say just because I think something or feel something does not mean that I'm right And I don't want to be right because it's none of my business
The form of love the different depths of love the giving of Love of helping others if they are using whatever they're trying to do to prove that point then like I said it's it's their business but that's something that we're all supposed to be doing is teaching each other how to love and the meaning of it
There's things in life that I don't even care if I learn about them or not and LGBT is one of those things because if they really meant whatever it is that they're trying to do they would have done it a different way because it's not real whatever they're doing they want it one way in their way and only their way but they can't even handle that or do it that way because they will fail and that's the sad part about it but anyway none of my business LOL00 Reply

2 moI just see an event where some trans woman that's actually a man is probably going to sexually assult a real woman in the woman's bathroom because he... er um... I mean she just has a sexual fetish. There's gays that dress up like girls and then there are those guys... they just want to do what they will do when you find out.
At the end of the day though... not my problem. That's a battle you "real women" need to fight otherwise... wax the balls biggot. Those are woman balls. Ignore the woman boner of the woman cock by getting you to do it. Just don't bring these perverts around kids.

2 moWhat makes you think the biblical account of Sodom and Gomorrah is a historical fact? There is new evidence that cities or a group of cities existed in the area, but it's yet to be conclusive (unless you're a believer and already presume it is).
You're also stating that you believe LGBTQ people are an affront to God and are sinners, by choice I presume? Did not God create them too? Was that a mistake?
Anyway, I don't see any mockery going on in this, only making a "point" perhaps.

2 moBrilliant!
There are christian LGBTQ people, just maybe not that many becuase they are rejected by those that don't understand. So can't blame them.
They can do what they want, they are free, courtesy of all the poeple that died giving them the freedom. If Mohammed's followers ended up ruling, they would not exist.

2 moNope.
A lot of bad things or good things happened right under the feet you walk on everyday you live and you aren’t mocking those that came before by living.
An event that happens to be hosted in the same vicinity as a story from The Bible doesn’t necessarily mean you are mocking God.01 Reply- 2 mo
If it were at a cemetery or memorial for a certain heritage, culture, religion of people gone then yes absolutely since it’s a sacred ground however in this sense I don’t see it that way.

m 2 moI think it's a clever, subversive use of historical traditions lol
We seem to be talking about symbols instead of actual worship space, so I'm 100% fine with appropriating symbols that have been used to persecute people in the name of God. It's even a sane payback to me.
But, if we were talking about hijacking praying areas then my opinion would be different.

2 moI think God has so much more patience and understanding for us than we do for each other. What I think is this should not matter and people could all work in not being insulted by other lifestyles... Especially since it doesn't stop anyone from living how they want.

2 moI won't wish them death but may god forgive them, if i was the leader of this country, i'll make such events forbidden, plus i'll make it clear that the nation will only support the real relationships which can only be achieved by one man and one woman together!

2 moIt's impossible to mock a fictional fantasy character who never actually existed. I'm betting the Christian "God" isn't gonna show up and smite the "sinners".
20 Reply 6.5K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. If God is bothered by it, they can do whatever. But they never do, so evidently it doesn't bother them. It bothers the homophobics, sexists, and racists who use religion as an excuse to hurt people different from them.

2 moI'm pretty sure those cities were destroyed by natural disasters (assuming they did exist), and the reasoning was added retroactively for the ancient Jews to understand why it happened.

A lot of the stories in the Old Testament are just oral myths and/or plagiarized from past religions from surrounding areas
