All the qualities others listed are important but they don’t make a “good” leader.


A leader is human. He / she makes mistakes. It’s inevitable.


But a leader is a person who doesn’t second guess or question the decisions after they are made because of contradictions or opposing views.


Opinions, much like assholes, are something everyone has.


A leader takes the time available to make the best possible choice but once that choice is made the leader needs to see it through and stand by the outcome comes hell or high water.

I don't think anyone mentioned a Girl Scout leader, but the Leadership Principles are the same whether you were an Army General or a Girl Scout leader. Principles matter.
