cause people who vote for left ideologies want rules to be applied to everyone but them. they want to feel good morally. it's not about policies that will have a positive impact on their personal life. it's all about feeling good about the thing you voted for. not about feeling good with the consequence.

Because they want their to be good alterative first. Most people aren't saying we should ban gas today, they are saying we should make huge investments in public transit, electric cars with a goal of banning fossil fuels in 10-20years. Right now we have no investment in public transit so people are forced to buy gas and now that gas they are forced to buy is more expensve

Then why did Biden shut down the Keystone pipeline? Shouldn’t he have waited for those alternatives you’re talking about?

Well maybe Biden was being a bit to aggressive, but I don't think shutting down keystone caused the Gas prices to shoot up as much as the War with Iran

Well I said that some might think that shutting down keystone was to soon, but shutting down keystone didn't have as much of an effect of what Trump is doing. Hence, why they are complaining
