Real relationships and meaningful interactions with other humans have been ruined by the rapid advance and implementation of technology.

I genuinely think growing up in the 90s and early 2000s was the best time to grow up. Technology was rising in that time, but it was more of a cool gadget than a mandatory thing. You could still play outside safely for the most part. You had hang out spots to meet your friends. Life was a simpler pace and people were not so easy to offend. Politics didn't matter as much as being around loved ones.

I don't know how to describe it, but the world seemed to have shifted in 2012 and again during COVID. Maybe the Mayans were right about the end of the world being 2012. Maybe not the apocalyptic extinction of life it was hyped up to be, but rather the end of the world in the sense that technology would advance more rapidly than ever and replace the very common sense and critical that helped humans survive without it.

Now tech is the biggest threat to society. A. I. is displacing people from jobs. A. I. is even answering phone calls and causing more problems than needed simply by being a hindrance and wasting for an issue that will go to a human anyways. Nuclear weapons are a bigger threat to the human race now than they ever were before 2001.

Technology was cool when it was an aid to humans, but now it is slowly replacing us.

I used to love post apocalyptic movies and tv shows. I was a big fan of the Walking Dead, for example. Walking Dead, Resident Evil, Days Gone, and that sort of thing.


Then the friggin pandemic happened and it became too real. The movies are too accurate! Lol. I learned that people really ARE that stupid and counter productively evil.
