Well first of all it's two different times in life
But Lincoln is a man that has values morals ethics and he did stuff to help people not to hurt them or not to take from them he is much better man than Trump is any day
But you know what more than that this is a very good question because Lincoln was a great man and he did great things and he was shot
Trump on the other hand says that he's doing things because God tells him to do it
I would think God would rather have kept Lincoln and had him do things rather than Trump do things and give to the wrong people and be so greedy about it throughout his whole existence
So the question for me is why God would speak to Trump in the first place and not Lincoln why would he rather not save Lincoln than Trump if this is the case
Lincoln never could have been blackmailed
Trump has put himself in that position many times and that's what could be happening now but Trump is just Trump takes from the poor and gifts to the rich he's more of a follower than a leader even in his business he lost it three or four times and he had one man named George that got him back on track. Yeah I'm going to have to say Lincoln I think Lincoln was one of the best presidents we've ever had Trump had that opportunity two times and it doesn't matter it's not going to work because that's not what he wants to be he wants to be greedy is what he wants and take take
Is this satire or just straight up comedy? Trump has the distinction of being in the top 5 worst Presidents in US history not once, but twice, but let's combine them for the sake of this post.
1) James Buchanan is still considered the worst by historians.
2) Trump is now second worst, but there's still time to surpass Buchanan
3) Andrew Jackson is generally considered third worst
4) Franklin Pierce is in this spot
5) Harrison is in this spot
After this, some names are interchangeable according to the historian. Fillmore, Tyler, Taylor all come up from the 1800's. In the early 1900's, the worst were Harding and Hoover.
In the later 1900's, Reagan was by far the worst. His bullshit trickle-down economics and turning the tax codes upside down was the start of the income disparity now facing the USA. The USA is 2nd only to Chile in income disparity.
He also flipped the burden of higher education from state funding to private funding, starting the predatory loan system still in effect. Reagan is falsely boosted by the US propaganda machine as being a great President, like George Washington is too. But if you examine the facts, both were horrible. Think about it a moment - who are Trump's three favorite President's; Washington, Reagan and Andrew Jackson. Tells you something right there.
Fantastic opinion from someone who actually knows how to read and follow history.
@katiesmuff Thanks Katie. All it requires is reading and thinking. LOL
@katiesmuff History will remember Trump as the man that saved a nation.
@exitseven SPDKTS Trump is now trying to grift you for another $1.7 BILLION Exit. The depth of your inability to think clearly simply staggers the mind.
I now think he is an AI puppet made out of trumps waste designed only to act like a retarded clown. Not even other MAGA morons talk as stupid as exitseven.
@exitseven Aren't you sad that you didn't get arrested at Jan 6? You could be in line for $1million from the taxpayer!
@exitseven So, just break the law for Trump, and you could win a million! You don't have any problem with that at all?
@goaded These people were protesting a stolen election. Even if they were arrested for breaking a window many were denied due process and had no legal representation and received 30 year prison sentences. One poor guy could pot face such a long sentence so he hung himself in his cell. His family should get the money.
@exitseven No. The most you can claim is that they thought they were protesting a stolen election, despite every state and every court case saying it wasn't.
Jack Smith, under oath:
"As I said, our evidence is that [Trump] in the weeks leading up to January 6th created a level of distrust.
He used that level of distrust to get people to believe fraud claims that weren't true.
He made false statements to State legislatures, to his supporters in all sorts of contexts and was aware in the days leading up to January 6th that his supporters were angry when he invited them and then he directed them to the Capitol.
Now, once they were at the Capitol and once the attack on the Capitol happened, he refused to stop it.
He instead issued a tweet that without question in my mind endangered the life of his own Vice President.
And when the violence was going on, he had to be pushed repeatedly by his staff members to do anything to quell it."
"one of the strengths of our case and why we felt we had such strong proof is all witnesses were not going to be political enemies of the President.
They were going to be political allies.
We had numerous witnesses who would say, "I voted for President Trump. I campaigned for Trump President Trump. I wanted him to win."
The Speaker of the House in Arizona.
The Speaker of the House in Michigan.
We had an elector in Pennsylvania who is a former Congressman who was going to be an elector for President Trump who said that what they were trying to do was an attempt to overthrow the government and illegal.
Our case was built on, frankly, Republicans who put their allegiance to the country before the party."
It's all there in black and white. judiciary.house.gov/.../...t_Redacted-w-Errata.pdf
@katiesmuff I think you nailed it, Katie.
The latest grift attempt for suing the IRS and settling with your own court for $1.7 Billion dollars is in the works. It includes the craziest shit about lifetime immunity from future prosecutions for shithead and his family, his associates and everything related to his business. It includes a clause where he NEVER has to reveal his tax documents and can not be audited.
Liz Oyer calls it the most egregious violation of the law in the history of the United States, and I agree with her.
If Congress and the courts allow this, you can kiss the USA's already tainted and corrupt legal system good bye. This is exactly what a dictatorship looks like, dressed up as a representative democracy, which also ended with John Robert's dismantling the Voting Rights Act.
There are no more guardrails left, people.
@goaded If a state does not check voter ID and does not care if a person is a citizen or not when they vote and once the ballot goes in the ballot box there is no way to determine who put it there , how can you possibly prove that it was an illegal alien who voted?
That is how they stole an election and the RNC spent 4 years changing the laws i many states to prevent this. That is how Trump won in 2024.
@exitseven People's names get checked off the electoral register when they vote, don't they? Then their identity is being checked. If two people turn up claiming to be the same person, it's noticed (and usually a simple mistake).
@goaded What if the state issues illegal aliens drivers licenses and the sEc of State goes on TV and says that to register to vote all you need is a drivers license and there is no way to tell if a person is a citizen or not? They can register and there is no voter ID when they vote. There is no way to prove that illegal aliens are voting.
And what about the districts that counted more ballots than there were registered voters? How is that even possible?
@exitseven It's not possible, it didn't happen.
No doubt illegal immigrants are queuing up to interact with the government and risk arrest and deportation. Show me that advert where your Secretary of State says "that to register to vote all you need is a drivers license and there is no way to tell if a person is a citizen or not".
Well Trump didn't start the countries most brutal war, his election didn't start massive secession. He didn't suspend Habeas corpus, he didn't secretly arrest the US CHIEF OF THE SUPREME COURT. honestly if trump did a fraction of what Lincoln did the dems would have a collective aneurysm.
And before someone says he freed the slaves, he did not. The emancipation proclamation only freed the slaves in the confederate states and would have not survived a court case this is why the republicans had to pass the 13th amendment to actually end slavery in America. And it didn't even really do that because it has a massive loophole that has allowed states to turn there prisons into slave plantations.
Lincoln was a monster, I'm not a fan of Trump either, both of them are evil, but we've had far worse. Like how FDR rounded up thousands of Japanese Americans and through them in concentration camps. Had the US been in any real risk during WII, he'd of probably installed gas chambers. And I could go on. Since Carter, I'd say all presidents have been about the same evil wise
MAGA really MIGA want slavery again. Segregation where only whites marry whites or whites can only boink other whites. Basically , they want all non whites out of the country. if you have Green Card or were born in US , doesn't matter. Trump and goons want you out of the country.
@888theGreat That is quite the claim
Agreed! All of these idiots who talk about how Lincoln was so much better than Trump have no idea what Lincoln actually did.
Trump IS doing worse than Lincoln did, and it's not just the money grift.
You don't have to suspend Habeas corpus if you can just ignore it and control the system who would prosecute it in the first place. It's a "de facto" suspension of the law and constitution; break it until you're told to stop by a lower court, get a temporary injunction against the restriction while it's appealed to the upper courts you control. Who are you kidding? Trump IS the fucking devil's puppet.
@loveslongnails to the extent that what you’re saying is true; that’s all stuff that was happening before Trump showed up.
@ProbablyClueless That was the exception when it happened, not the rule. Now it's commonplace for the Trump regime.
@loveslongnails Even if THAT were true; those exceptions created precedent which creates the justification for what we're seeing now. This behavior was very common place before. People just didn't hear it because the media knew that this was business as usual.
@ProbablyClueless Big difference is... it wasn't being imposed on CITIZENS and I'm not just talking about immigration. People have been ARRESTED in Texas and jailed overnight for showing pictures of brown tap water coming from their faucets, caused by the data centers nearby. A bullshit charge of whatever it was gets dropped, but it's a fear tactic.
This government is the most fascist pieces of shit in the modern era... worse than the Commie scare back in the 50's and 60's.
@loveslongnails YOU THINK THAT WASN'T HAPPENING TO CITIZENS BEFORE? It absolutely was. But again, we didn't hear about it because the things you're describing are the government operates. This is business as usual. Information suppression cases from the government were happening constantly.
What do you think Snowden was all about? Look up the Franklin Cover Up. Look at how the Clinton Admin handled sub prime mortgages and the Bush administration handled anyone who raised concerns about intel linking WMDs to Iraq. That's just the stuff that immediately popped into my head, the list could easily go on.
@ProbablyClueless Dude... I'm not going to debate precedent with you. The current SCOTUS loves to ignore it. If you're going to defend the Trump regime, you need another audience. I will have none of it. I'm not going to defend ANY previous regime of the US either, since they all committed crimes, but what's happening in the streets today and in Congress, is beyond shameful EVEN for the USA. It goes beyond our own government's historical hypocrisy, which is quite a feat, but if that's ground zero for precedent, this entire topic is a waste of energy.
The current kakistocracy is lawless... absolutely lawless. From ignoring court orders, to denying family contact AND counsel to falsely arrested citizens to outright war crimes. Trump has normalized the kinds of behavior and stupidity that would have forced any other President to resign, but Congress is a bunch of ass lickers. Thanks for your input !!
@ProbablyClueless I know it was, and as I said, I'm the last to defend past government's actions. I'm not defending cover-ups or saying they didn't happen -- to citizens. But there's a difference between being suspected of espionage and being dragged from your car in a Walmart parking lot simply because your skin is brownish, and placed in a hellhole while being denied the medication you need to live, because so morons have immunity from a bigger moron. That's my point. Again, thanks for the input.
Both did a lot for black people

Trump destroyed USA for all the people. Why are you racist separeting people in black and white?
@Alexandrubaschet08 we aren't. Liberals are. Theyve been trying to bring back Democrats old policy of segregation for well over a decade
Trump wants to make black people slaves again. He won't allow black people promotions in Military. .
@888theGreat no thats democrats. They want to keep black people on their welfare plantations. Segregated black only spaces, failing schools, DEI etc.
LMAO... good lord, you're a clown. I don't enjoy calling people idiots, but when you earn the title, wear it proudly. Tell me what these numbers are, idiot:
43, 28, 23 ... any idea? No, you don't.
43% = the percentage of white Americans receiving welfare
28% = the percentage of Hispanic Americans receiving welfare
23% = the percentage of Black Americans receiving welfare
You COULD have looked that up, but it doesn't fit with your " I'm a maga-dolt" narrative.
Trump is the moust racist, xenophobic and stupid president USA will ever have for at last next yares that he still need to be in power.
Trump is a phedopfile, tritor of USA people and Europe as well.
With Trump in power is for the first ever time i'm anti-USA even if i want to come in USA when it come back to normal.
Right now there are to many fools for the imigrants to want to come in the USA. That why migrants don't come anymore, not because Trump did something, but because show how broken is USA with Trump in power.
@loveslongnails 43% of welfare recipients are whites and because whites are 70% of the population you are saying that whites are hugely under represented in receiving welfare.
23% of welfare recipients are black and being 15% of the US Population according to your figures are massively over represented.
Your figures are correct but you are too much of a tard to understand them.

Oh man, that is a GREAT question. I'm looking forward to reading these answers.
Both are incredibly effective leaders. Both are navigating a government and country that are trying to undermine them. Lincoln is far more aggressive and ruthless, but he was also a product of his time and the situation he was taming was a lot more serious. Trump is a much gentler ruler than he could be (and some would argue should be), but there's an element of whimsy and humor to what he does about things that really don't matter.
Any mockery Trump makes of the Oval Office is very surface level, and it's a result of the absurd behavior of the people who took it seriously before him. You wouldn't get any of that comedy out of Lincoln. Lincoln simply destroy what he didn't like.
All these Liberals talking about how Trump thinks himself a king are clueless. Lincoln would be a far scarier man to have in the White House right now.
I think my vote goes to Trump. Because Trump is making every effort to preserve the order, protect the American people, and be gentle with his enemies (because he doesn't view them as enemies).
Lincoln. He was a self-made orator and statesman. He also had great compassion and wanted what is best for America and the American people.
It has become apparent that Trump is a boor who is all about self aggrandizement. He is dishonest, cruel and rather stupid.
I say this as one who voted for him against the despicable Democrat candidates in 2016, 2020, and 2024. I didn't think he did a bad job in his first term. But his second term has turned out to be a huge disappointment.
I don't think history will treat him well.
Abraham Lincoln was a good president for his time. He navigated the Civil War and worked to heal the country after it was over.
We are living in a different era. We have internal problems like runaway spending, illegal immigration, high crime and government corruption. There are also issues overseas with trade imbalances, terrorism, wars, and illegal immigration..
President Trump has decades of experience in business, construction, entertainment and has navigated the levers of government. It takes somebody with his wide variety of skills to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
Managing a war the way Lincoln did is far more difficult than anything Trump has had to deal with so far; the American Civil War claimed far more lives than both world wars combined.
What’s more, Lincoln was the one who defined the USA and its role; he defined what the American nation was.
Sorry, but Trump is no match for him.
I am reproducing Nightdrot’s reply here
At the time Lincoln became President, it was not just that the country was divided on the question of slavery - with all of its implications for how man viewed his fellow man. The country was, significantly, divided over its very nature. The question of whether or not it was single national community, or instead a confederation of separate and distinct communities, each with their own identity and, in extremis, sovereignty.
Lincoln answered the question not just through military victory - which by itself would not have been enduring - but by summoning the nation to the philosophical essentials of its birth. He defined the nation by common attachment to a specific creed - "a nation dedicated to a proposition" - and in the fullness of time defined the nation.
No President - not even Washington nor Jefferson - answered the question of what the United States was, and thus what it is now, as permanently and definitively. By summoning "the mystic chords of memory," i. e. to a keener sense of its animating principles, Lincoln turned the country into a nation. Something much more essential and elemental and thus enduring.
President Trump is redefining what America is. It is what every other country should aspire to. As we enter a new Golden Age America will again be the greatest nation, not just in terms of military power bus also having the greatest standard of living and the gold standard for scientific, medical and cultural achievements again.
In our lifetime we will see colonization of the moon and later Mars. We will be the leader in Artificial Intelligence and we will see advances in medicine and technology tht we cannot imagine today.
You mean the many businesses he bankrupted, or plain out cheated others out of. He is nothing but a pathetic pile of useless dog shit and should be buried with a face full of it as the nation is allowed to visit and piss on the grave site. There are cockroaches that are better than he is. A stinking fucking turd ball who thinks YOUR wife is nothing more than a useless piece of meat just like he feels about all women.
@katiesmuff can you actually name one of thee businesses?
Lets see: The Donald Trump Foundation, The Hard Rock Casino in Atlantic City, Plaza Hotel, Paradox Hotel in Vancouver, CA, One or two of his personal mortgages and I believe there was a dot com to name a few. All the way back to his grandfather the entire family have been nothing but lousy cheating rat scum.
We have Slavery now. People don't get paid enough to stay ahead of inflation. Actually , Slaves had it better in some ways. Free room and board and food.
@katiesmuff When you start a lot of businesses there is bound to be a few failures. The average failure rate in businesses is 50%. . Trump has been a successful developer and businessman and ha has won the biggest title in the world and he did it twice,
when measured "better" this depends if you use "feet or meters" . lincoln was good according to pc rules. that puts his 'good free slaves' exaggeration like a gold CROWN. but lincoln went TOO far- making a war about it. sending people to die! he went too far. he should let people choose. to do whatever good he can WITHOUT violence.
in contrast: measure trump in feet and yards. he closed the border. that is worth far more! except according to pc ethnicity rules as above. adds unreal value.
President Abraham Lincoln is a better President than pretty much every President prior to The Civil War and after The Civil War because he did the one thing no one could do, banish slavery, reunited The Union even if it meant a war while being open to peaceful means.
Abraham Lincoln literally made such an impact, that GOP became “The Party of Lincoln”. He followed George Washington’s view that patriotism was being in favor of unifying the country and keeping it together, put it to the test. We made monuments to President Lincoln, not because he said to make them however by people appreciating his work for government and his contributions for the American people, American way of life. Lincoln looks over Washington DC in his Lincoln Memorial, just as he did when he had to reunite The Union.
Lincoln
He freed the slaves
Instead of deporting them
Trump wins

@Snakeyes7 Really... oh shit, mad respect. Now I got to research that. What stopped him? If it was the dems again, I'm gonna go full Hitler mode on them.
A TROLL is not allowed to go HItler mode!
@lesbologist Actually, apparently voluntary deportation was one thing he considered but he gave it up after the civil war progressed and Frederick Douglass talked him out of it. He was assassinated moments after the war ended so he never had the chance to make it final.
In hindsight, I think he should have gone with it.
trump is not a president: he's anti-american fascist scum.
However, he is technically a president, I guess. So, in answer to your question, Lincoln is the very best of all time and trump is the absolute fucking worse.
Other presidents such as FDR and JFK may be compared to Lincoln when it comes to judging who is the greatest president; but trump is in a league of his own as far as mediocrity and incompetence is concerned.
Lincoln is legendary. I've studied him and other figures involved in the US Civil War and the causes of it pretty deeply. Consistantly listed as one of the top 2 or 3 presidents, bet on it. As for Trump ask your favorite AI to evaluate and rank all of the US presidents. Unless you ask the one on "truth social" Trump will be bottom 5, and most likely bottom 2. I agree with this appraisal... worst period actually.
Lincoln was great, but let's be honest -- no U. S. president has had to deal with anywhere near the kind of opposition and abuse of governmental power that Trump has. And when you consider that the opposition to him is 100% because he's trying to prevent the country from being intentionally ruined, so the left can rule over the wreckage unopposed, yes I believe Trump is the greatest president in history.
Once TDS hysteria leaves the historic record, hatred of Donald Trump will. TDS is the same mental illness as Anti-Semitism A time will come when, like Anti-Semitism, TDS will hall from favor. Unfortunately Anti-Semitism can always well up because hating other tribes is part of human nature. History forgets most other hatred. It's even forgotten Communism.
Lincoln, of course. He always comes in the top 3 of polls of historians as to who the greatest president is. Trump comes in the bottom 3. This year, Trump will be dead last... The worst president in US history.
but no one here is alive to remember what Lincoln was actually like as a president only know things about him from books or tv
and politics has changed so much over time , it used to be that the democrats and republicans were not that different on many issues but now there way apart
I can't say. While Lincoln was assassinated, Trump has been devinely protected. They've both done some amazing things yet i wonder how tough it all was on Ol' Abe? I'd bet not near as tough as Don has had it. Perhaps he can shake loose the terrible democrats and fair weather voters and have a strong finish ending with all Epstein info laid bare and sending many to prison and Trump shown to be, as I've known all along, clean as a whistle.
Too far appart in terms of how the world system are/were during their time. Trump is living in a time where the world is very connected while Lincoln was in a time where news took weeks to travel, just like mail, if it moved at all.
I would say Lincoln because he was able to get half the country to actually take action against his eras "swamp"
It's actually a great comparison. I'm gonna be thinking about this for a few days 😂
First of all the only thing trump is better at is filling his personal pockets and would likely top the list as a LIAR.
Lincoln was hands down so much better than trump could ever be.
Looking at the reassuring answers in question, I think that the answers you get actually respond to the question:
"How far do you want to go to promote 4chan on g@g?
Lincoln accomplished a lot, too bad all of the great Presidents get assassinated. I am praying 🙏 for President Donald J. Trump. I’m praying that he doesn’t.
Me either, I much rather see him at 83 begin a nice prison sentence to end his glorious life living with other low life criminals.
@katiesmuff Never will happen. Best you will get is an ankle bracelet keeping in Florida house and fines and him banned in countries like Ireland, Greenland , Ukraine, Spain, Venez, and Colombia
If the choice were between tRump and a roadkill raccoon, I'd choose the raccoon.
Trump is much better; not because Trump is good, but Lincoln was evil and murdered millions.
Trump has killed millions of children. He cut off their food and medicine by cutting funding. He got 1000's of soldiers killed for no gains in Middle East. Homeless rates are exploding all over the country. People are living in their cars. Trump murdered unarmed Protesters. Food is lots higher under Trump. All Insurance prems have skyrocketed. Cost of Living has exploded. Homes have gone up. so Property Taxes have gone way up.
So far Trump is avoiding a civil war while freeing the slaves.
The Democrat plantation is getting destroyed...
x.com/.../1?s=46
Are you kidding? Lincoln by light years Trump could fuck up a cup of coffee. He talks like blathering drunken retard.
Both of then dabbled in wrestling at some point before going into politics
one was more of a president...
the other is a puppet
Buchanan - Trump is the more interesting debate.
Clearly Lincoln. I mean no president in us history can beat "ending slavery". That's just an unbeatable mic drop.
Lincoln fought to bring a divided nation back together. Trump divides the nations to start fights.
but war is bad. lincoln was wrong to send people to die for that.
You must be kidding. Lincoln was arguably the best president this country ever had. Trump right now is in the winning spot for being the worst.
They are about the same. Lincoln's real plans to recolonize all blacks in the U. S. back to Africa. He just got shot before he could do his plan. Trump is recolonizing all these illegal back to their shit whole countries.
Considering Lincoln is partially responsible for the deaths of almost a million American soldiers and civilians combined, it’s debatable
People love to talk about all of the times Trump defied the red tape, but they always forget tha Lincoln suspended Hebeas Corpus.
This is common during war
Lincoln , Trump will go down in History like Carter, Biden and Nixon. Policies worse than Carter and Biden. Corruption like Nixon.
As that great philosopher Bryce Harper once said,"Clown question, bro!!" (Or in your case,"Clown question, babe !!!")
Trump is a slave and Lincoln freed the slaves to destroy our Republic. They are bote tied for worst ever.
Lincoln had the decency not to duck.
I think Lincoln was a pretty important President
Which president was worse than Trump?
Lincoln, unqestionable!
Any president but Grandpa Trump.
Lincoln
LINCOLN
Lincoln
Is this a joke if not Lincoln by a lot lol
Lincoln
Lincoln
Lincoln
Lincoln did more.
Same shit
Lincoln
Lincoln by far
Trump
