USA.

If you take the problems and debts of the USA, and it's lower standards of living, then it is among the poorest in the world. You are eight times more likely to be killed by a cop in America, than a terrorist in Afghanistan. Statistically you have a woman being raped in the USA every hour, to boot.

But having travelled a lot of this planet, the title of "poorest" is irrelevant. You're not going there to be a cop or politician. You're going there for yourself.

So it's really about what you want, and how much effort you're willing to put in to make it. Bangladesh is pretty poor, but it has some of the best food in the South Asian continent.

Likewise, Mexico is pretty poor, but it has some of the best selections of drugs, drink and shrooms out there.

u. s. has poorest people. tons of homeless besides tons with giant debt. our money is weaker than in 150 other countries. for example one kilogram chicken in turkey costs just a 1/4 the price here! we earn more but still need so much more dollars than hundreds of countries.
